They should do something about it, you pay a lot of money for an item that deserves a better packaging

I bought two chogokins from toy-wave about four years ago and it was sent the same exact way. It was shipped in a thin layer of bubble wrap and both boxes were heavily damaged. I was in total shock and haven't ordered from them since then, because it seems like the guy just doesn't care. I'm sure the postage you paid covered an outer shipping box, so he was just being careless and greedy. Think about it, he shipped a $300.00+ "rare item" in A THIN LAYER OF BUBBLE WRAP. That's downright insulting.

Enorabuena y buen provecho, Lancer! (Nice job and great score, Lancer!) Your Maz was delivered to you safe-n-sound. Still I agree with everyone here, the packaging needs to be much more safer and stronger... ...even if it might cost a little more-- ---better paying extra for better protection than saving a buck and have it get F*cked.

I got the same issues with HLJ 3 times in a row so i decided not to buy from them anymore, i remember even posting some picts here, on behalf of TW my package came in a gross layer of bubble wrap, i guess someone inside TW is trying to f**k up with the company. Thanks Magengar.

If I remember correctly, when I used to buy stuff from Toy_Wave long ago, during the check-out process you had to let them know what kind of packing you wanted. Of course, if you chose boxed shipping, it would cost you more. But at least they gave you the choice. Is Toy-Wave not offering this option now???

im not sure if there is something like packaging options. It only has type of shipping. But even then, there should be an adequate protection... bubble wrap and paper cover is not adequate...

Yeah, I just checked. They still give you the option at checkout of whether you want it in an extra box or in "normal" packaging, which is the toy's box entombed in bubblewrap (actually a pretty common shipping method I've found from HK sellers).

just got an email from tw and they indicated the small decal on the outer box is actually a number from the supplier only? Can anyone confirm this? I know its been said that the decal with number indicates that it is from the 100 pcs... is that so? Just wanted to confirm this. they emailed me and said that the white sticker is not that important? Gold, can you or anyone confirm this? This is TW's email to me after I wanted to confirm with them the replacement....
Hi
May I know what the number decal you refer is?
If you mean the white mini sticker on the side of the box, that is just the indication code from my supplier only
Regards

This is TW's email to me after I wanted to confirm with them the replacement.... Hi May I know what the number decal you refer is? If you mean the white mini sticker on the side of the box, that is just the indication code from my supplier only Regards Well, the white sticker with the number is not exactly that important, from what I've been able to gather, the figures with brown boxes are from the Go Nagai Dynamic Webshop, while the ones that were at the 100 pieces event did not have an outer box, and so no white sticker. I could be wrong about this as I'm basing this on images from auctions for the autographed 45c and all of the auctions don't show the brown outer box. Far as I can tell, the white sticker is part of package, every single 45c that has the outer brown box (Go Nagai Dynamic webshop) I've encountered has the white sticker. As what it's for, no exact idea but for some strange reason, all the numbers start with 3xxx. I've seen 5 units from different sources and all start with 3. Could be the winning ticket number? Could be an id number for the Webshop? No real idea. ;D Gold

this limited edition thing is really starting to tick me off.... Right now im hating Bandai a bit more.... York was kind enough to explain it to me on his most recent email in response to my question. Hi York, So if that is the case, will the replacement I am to recieve have the same white sticker marked on that outer box? His response Hi I can't assure on that....after all sticker is not a official marking for the product, is just the marking from my supplier when they ship to us. It has NOTTHING to do with neither the event nor the toy itself As we get these items from various supply sources, some supplier did place sticker mark on it and some doesn't Does this explanation give you a clear picture on the relationship between the sticker and the box itself? Regards York

I ordered both GX-45C and GX-47T from Toy-wave two weeks ago, and they both arrived via EMS inside the proper shipping box.
My GX-45C came with the outer box, but it did not have the sticker that you guys are talking about.

Guys, I don't mean to be rude but it's a little overdone to be so particular about that little white sticker. I seen the GX-45Cs available in my local shop and all of them come with the brown box without that white sticker. honestly, i don't think the white sticker makes a difference to the value of the toy. it will be ridiculous if i see someone trying to sell a "GX-45C with white sticker on brown casing" at a higher price. The only GX-45Cs out there that are going to make a difference in the value are the ones with Go Nagai's signature. And heck, it's not that difficult to forge that signature so you won't know for sure if the one you got is the genuine one.

No offense taken OptimusprimeSg. But I have to admit it is intriguing why some units have the white sticker while some don't. I have to agree it's not something that will affect the overall value of the figure, as Toy-wave has already confirmed that some of their units have the sticker and some don't. LOL, I wonder if anyone in Japan already tried forging the signature on a regular 45C and passing it off as legit? He'd make a fortune online. Gold

It's allways the same music... eh eh... Japanese versions versus HK version... Italian SOCs got their own stickers... so it makes them unique... It's a matter of considerations, point of view. Just remember HK it's the main platform for all Bandaï toys. The HK Bandaï center is in charge of all SOC production, so a SOC is a HK native born. ^__^
Collecting SOCs for money ? Maybe in 20 years it will worth it. But do not forget your children will play in secret with them... My opinion, I will probably offer my collection to a toy museum.
Anyway... my GX-45C will arrive on friday, and I will play with it !
