I sort of see MM. The center character looks more like MMX not MM OG.

i don't mind if they do a hybrid collection of figures, if revoltech has done that before then i dont see the problem for bandai to do so as well. i would love to have chogokin version of megaman( specially MMX saga)

If you look at the original line(s) of chogokin figures there are tons of crossovers with all sorts of wacky stuff so its not like including Megaman or Rockman would be breaking some "rules of chogokin" or whatever.

The one with the sword looks remarkably like Great Mazinger though. LOL, I wonder if these figures will be a new line that spoofs popular characters?

but gold, it is assumed that characters are in the main line of SOC are somewhat popular, but on second thought, there are only left very few super robots of the 70s and 80s era.
maybe this line will be based on recent models, not super robots of yesterday.
well, anyway there are only two days left to know definitively that brings Bandai.

The pose is almost a perfect copy of the pose used to promo GX-45.

Hmmm... the one on the far right with the "drill"(?) arm looks like it could be the Classic JEEG. While the one on the far left looks kinda Fat, like Boss Borot or Getter Poseidon. ;D

I'm not going to get my hopes up too high until I see it. It seems with every new Bandai line the "new" part is marginal. But with that said, is it possible that it could be a new SRW line, which would then explain Mazinger and Alteisen being in the same line? That wouldn't account for MM though.

Only thing I ask is that they're in scale with the Robot Damashii line up.... since RD already has a really great start as a sort of SRW toy line, this would make things alot easier in doing that... Also, I don't know what else they could do with Chogokin other than making them a more collectible size- and it would just make sense for both lines to have mid-range collection.

I'm totally in for a RD sized chogokin line, kind of like Metaltech's Grendizer. It's easier on the shelves, too.

great…ANOTHER mazinger (can you sense the sarcastic enthusiasm?) Well, you don't have to buy one if you don't like it. The rest of the world will buy it. I'm personally going to buy five of them... The Classic Mazinger Z RULES!!! }D

Just like to know is this line more expensive then SOC?

I doubt it - The SOC line is already a high dollar line, while the Robot Spirits line is more budget conscious. What Bandai DOESN'T have is a "bridge" line that could act as an intermediate between the two; a little more costly than the RD figures, but with a taste of the SOC diecast and presentation. This is where I would see this line fitting in; there's not much of a place for it, otherwise.

ohh man.... mazinger ya me tiene harto .. diablos, que saquen otra cosa. ohh man....im already tired about maz....yikes, release something else instead. Pues no lo compres. A mi si me da mucho gusto que saquen el Mazinger Z clasico. Then don't buy it! I for one, am happy they are making a classic Mazinger Z. Why do people always have to whine about releases of the best money-making Super Robot character on Earth??? Mazinger's fame is only rivaled by Grendizer's! Nobody complains about Gundam or Evas... Geez!!! }|

Geez!!! }| I do. It's not an issue of feeling compelled to buy, it's just that for those waiting for a Dairugger or Daltanious, or any number of robots that are classic or otherwise, seeing another Mazinger is a little boring. And yes we know its not boring to you because that's what you buy is Mazingers, but considering that I can think of about ten different Mazinger releases just off the top of my head from the last two years, it's hard to get excited about him for many of us.
