I forgot to mention, those Gao bots do look awesome, too!
GGG looks great in that sculpt and now I can finally see him more vividly and what his body parts look like. LOL! (he looks too dark and undiscernable in the GGG Final anime)

Wow you couldn't let me dream about BD-Maz for a single day before you had to dash my hopes!! I'm sad, but thanks for the investigative reporting.

The only thing bandai could do to make me happier would be transformable SOC GaoGaiGar figures and the other braves but this is a great first step
Or a giant transformable King J-Der/J-ark thats in scale with the SRC I'd gladly give up my life savings for one

I wanted it to be true as well, but there was just too much detail in a figure that would sell for about $40 USD (or about $65 as a Tamashii Web exclusive - like the SKL). So I had to dig around more to make things right... }D

Damn I wish those were SOC's but there too small for my tastes but the important thing is that we now know Bandai has the rights to make GGG figures, just at what size remains to be answered.

Looks like the Weissritter won't be a web exclusive after all ;D
Question: Will the SRC choryujin hyoryu, gekiryujin enryu and the other GGG support bots transform?
EDIT: Doh!

No! Well, probably not, anyway. And I wouldn't make claims about exclusivity - just because an item is shown doesn't mean that everyone will be able to buy it still, Let's not dwell on dark, sad, things.

Point taken... just glad that Weissritter is going to be released after all What - no love for the SRW SRC Figures? Clearer pics, courtesy of Toybox DX: Combination into SRX is probably asking for too much, but I hope a SOC version is in the works... Hopefully powered packs for the SRX team (and R-Gun figure) will be available for separate purchase later. Looks like Weissritter just got out of the rapid prototype machine and hastily hand painted I have great expectation for non combining, non transforming SRW bots in this line.

Looks like Weissritter just got out of the rapid prototype machine and hastily hand painted I have great expectation for non combining, non transforming SRW bots in this line. Me me me me! I love SRW OG SRX and have been waiting for a reasonable priced item to collect. The SRX by Volks literally costs a fortune from private importers and it's not a perfect change anyway so I pass. With the R - series release, SRX is bound to come for sure, but at what scale? I'm planning to get SOC Dygenguar so at least to have a rough scale when displayed with SRC Alteisen. If the SRX is in scale with SRC Dygenguar, then it will be small. I'm hoping it will be on scale with the SRC R - Series so it's roughly scale compatible with SOC Dygenguar. Super simple analysis of the R-1: The dagger can be removed from the wingpods. Double jointed knee and knee guard indicates a very good leg articulation or a hint of transformation gimmick. Volks and Kotobukiya version have similar leg design and they're all transformable (albeit a partsformable). The center chest part seems molded separately from the upper torso. On Volks and Kotobukiya R-1, this center chest part swings to allow transformation. So is the R-1 transformable? Got to wait and see, but I'm betting a 50:50 chance it will. Nobody comments on the sagging leg of Reideen in bird mode? Still hoping for a locking mechanism or perhaps a locking display stand.

If Raideen's leg is sagging in Bird mode, he must be one hurt Turkey. ;D Just kidding. Nah, I never noticed it nor caught it.
You must've seen the showcased figure. I doubt Bandai would've let that one slip by QC on a real Store figure.

But I've preordered it anyway, and I love both the bird mode and robot mode, so either way displaying the SRC Reideen will be a blast.
