I know there's no actual scale in the SRC line but it looks like this figure is close to 1/144?

A little smaller, judging from the comparisons. The Alteisen Reise in this image is also not-quite 1/144, but very, very close. At 1/144 scale, most SRW OG mechs are a fair bit larger than an equivalent 1/144 Gundam.

i have not seen the anime, is this an accurate (or acceptable) scaling of the srw's? if this is the case, then the gx-46 dygenguar and aubenseiter will look great beside the src alteisen.

There's already a picture comparison here at robot-japan forum about Dygenguar scale robotjapan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=SOC&action=display&thread=4054&page=5. Scale wise, we can say it all goes down the drain for SRC Alteisen, R-series and SOC Dygenguar... But... At least the proportion is about right, R-series being the smallest, Personal Troopers (Alteisen and Weisritter) the bigger one and SOC Dygenguar the largest. Can't have em all. Really can't wait to see the R-1. If its hands and legs folds backwards like GX-54 Tobikage, then we will have SRX.

Got that payment request from Amiami yesterday also. @ SAL shipping it's 57+ dollars. It's cheaper than HLJ.com but come to think of it, it's just around the same had I kept my order at BBTS. They have it at 50 and usually UPS ground is around 8$ or less for an item this small. If it's any consolation, I just get to received this maybe a month earlier because I don't know when BBTS will get theirs. Feeling the same about the Predaking reissue that I have with Amiami. Even with SAL shipping, it will still be close to 170+ dollars. If only we were back to the 1USD to 100YEN days.

well not necessarily true, although the DX version of Shinkeh-oh is almost a brick, the candy toy version is not. its transformable and well articulated.

Wasn't Tamashii Web Exclusive Mazinkaiser SKL all black? Is the one below a non-Tamashii regular SRC release? Nope, that looks like the Tamashii web version. And I'd trust Wikipedia about as far as I could throw the internet, frankly . I could go on there right now and say the next SRC figure will be a mecha Canti from FLCL, but it wouldn't make it true

Is the Banpresto version bigger then the Super Robot version? Does the Banpresto version fit in well with other SOC releases?

i think its fine to me, Alteisen is like some what 20m tall and his upgraded version Alteisen Reise is like 23m tall. now comparing it with SRC Mazinger Z which in his stats is 18m tall it goes pretty much perfect, so i hope they do a Alteisen Reise because he is just badass.
