im really impress with the articulation that Raideen has, even with the strange design in certain areas like those triangular pieces on his leg that would interfere with his legs articulation he still can put nice poses. to bad the head is a bit restricted but that cant be help because of his design, but is ok since the detail in it makes up for it.
the only thing that i find it a bit unnecessary is the leg part that you can use when in bird mode, on top it looks nice but when you look under him it looks weird.

SRC Reideen. SOC Reideen. Yes, the SRC Raideen looks very nice. I should be getting mine in a couple of days. I have the SOC GX-41S and while it is a nice figure, it is not very user friendly as things tend to fall of easily. I'm hoping the SRC Raideen engineering took care of the bugs the SOC rendition has. }D

Sorry to cut the Raideen talk...but I just got my Tamashii Stage Act 5 package today...and I have to say that it's nice but I am not really impressed with it! Before I post some pics for the flyin' Mazingers, I need to ask a couple o' questions... 1. These 3 holes on the stage surface, are they to be used for anything else rather than changing the place of the carrier bar?
2. Also, the adapters that come with the SCR, are they the only things to use for fixing the machines on the stages for the flying mode? Thanx. Now, some quick shots... ;D That 3rd stage seduces me to purchase SKL by the way!

1. These 3 holes on the stage surface, are they to be used for anything else rather than changing the place of the carrier bar? Nope. They're alternate mounting points for the various Tamashii stage support arms - that's all. If you had extra arms, say from some Act 3 stages, you could attach them to the base at those points to hold up mid-air rocket punches, and the like. 2. Also, the clippers that come with the SCR, are they the only things to use for fixing the machines on the stages for the flying mode? Thanx.
Hmm... don't ... quite understand the question, but the Tamashii stages come with generic "gripping" claws for holding figures that don't come with base adapters, although the SRC Mazingers include little pieces that plug into their backs/butts ( ) that shoudl mount directly onto the support arms without using the stand's gripping claws.

I beg your pardon.

I like the SOC Raideen for what it is. But I lean more towards the SRC Raideen, because you can actually see his face when he's aiming that arrow, as though he were turning his head. (Technically, he doesn't need to turn his head, because he can also see with those bird eyes on the rear-sides of his head)... it looks more convincing.
The SOC raideen's face is too hidden inside the open face shields, like some punk thug wearing an over-sized hoodie.
But still, if I could get these Raideens TODAY, I'd get Both (the SOC, and the SRC) just to complete those Raideen toy lines on my shelf.

Hi, guys! I never knew that Mazinkaizer SKL has wings! So, now what...? They will make a new SRC weapon set for SKL with the wings or are those wings actually the mecha Wingle where they will make a SRC for her later?

ah so it did come true what a person said, Minerva is the one that forms the wings. this is a pic that the person did in Photoshop, its pretty spot on i would have to say. Oh... how original looking wings! I've never seen that concept used in Super Robot wings before!!! }p dude we get it already, if there is no Koji or is not original is no big deal. No offense but its getting a bit annoying, we already understand that you don't like the character in any shape or form but since is GoNagai creation he can do as he want with it.

At this point I'm so discombobulatedly confeUUUsed about who's gonna be his wings and How they'll attach. What, Wingle's gonna bearhug him from behind and jab-lock her spikey breasteses into his back and hitch him a ride outta Dodge?
I'm just kidding. ;D
I'd rather not see any more trailers and just wait to see the actual series. There's so much heresay I can't even listen.

Hear you. In the meantime you should check out the anime Super Robot Wars: The Inspectors. It is awesome and refreshingly original. Actually, if you really want to get a good grasp on the characters and storyline, watch the Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Divine Wars first. It is only 26 episodes long and it provides a lot of the characters and mechas information needed to understand the new series. I tell you, I never liked the SRW OG concepts because they seemed like a Gundam ripoff, but they actually turned out to have a great storyline and really impresive robots.

I am guessing that that character will die or get injured and will have to pass the wings to the SKL.

You know, before I learn that SKL has wings, I was thinking to purchase him...but since his accessory is another SRC, <dugh!> and a female robot <dugh again> ... they broke his image as the lone warrior in my eyes! I am not saying it's a bad idea...but, physiologically, something has changed now, you know.
