Well, with the release of many other cool things this month, and the crappy value of the USD, I wouldn't mind if the Fewture Shin Getter is delayed a month or two more. I hate keeping a credit card balance...

... At least we know why it was delayed right now and that the problems have (apparently) been solved.

I am totally fed up with this! I ordered my Sep 2009! Almost two years! It feels like Fewture is using all the turn over generated from this world record long pre-order, to produce some gokins (EX Getter Repaints, EX Gokin etc) to improve their own econmoy .. possibly also survival.
I am most scared that all hard earned money may go to hell .. because Fewture seems very very unstable at the moment.
Anyone who has pre-ordered, but pull the order back!?

To sum up as i can understand there were a problem to find a new factory in china ,mainly the problem is the closing of some of the factory with the new labor law so the old factory closed in the middle of the production . a new factory was found on November or October and the work begin again except that the factory is closed on january for a month or more so they expect finish the production and being shipped in japan in march or April .

Wow! Thanks for the new pics. So next year, huh... I'm sooo glad I ordered it from BBTS and didn't have to make any payments on it when I ordered it. Since it has been so long since the initial pre-orders, any moneys paid via Paypal are in God's hands now, as their buyer protection period has long run out. Pray Fewture comes through.

I wouldn't worry, I think this whole delay is because Fewture wants the highest quality they can produce plus with plants shutting down and the cost of plastic going up it's just a long process, they just want to get it right it's a very expensive figure and if they released something sub-par it would pretty much ruin the companies reputation.

Fewture's reputation is not the best after the insanely large QC problems they've had with most of their releases - mainly paint application problems. They need to redeem themselves with the Shin Getter if they want to continue being taken seriously as a high end collector's figure making company.
Of course, all they really have to do to make their customers happy is re-issue the Ryoma Black Getter in it's original colors and at the original price. That will not only generate loads of cash for them, but will also ensure the utmost loyalty from their almost disgruntled fans...
Fewture folks, are you reading this? Take action!!!

To me it sounds like you just want Fewture to re-release the Mazinger Ryoma because you don't have one. I mean what does QC problems and being taken seriously have to do with re-releasing the Black Getter Ryoma?

I mean what does QC problems and being taken seriously have to do with re-releasing the Black Getter Ryoma? Well, seems you need to do some more reading about Fewture's releases. Yes, I would like to see the Ryoma Black Getter re-released to buy one, but that does not mean in any way that I can't buy one right now - don't confuse things dude. Anyway, that comment was way out of line. Having a lot of QC problems and being taken seriously go hand in hand, period. The part about re-releasing the Black Getter was to be utilized as a way to make their fans happy again and make them "forget" that the figures they are paying lots of money for have been plaged with quality problems for a very long time. }D

I think alot of people would like to see a Fewture Ryoma Black Getter re-issued. I paid 3X for mine in the after market --- painful, but in my opinion, well worth it. And I would be fine if it got re-released. In fact, having two would be great. And to financially help Fewture produce and release the Shin Getter...hell yes! I am getting ulcers of the fear that this puppy may not see the light of day.
