I had forgotten about T-Rex! T-Rex and King Kong would rock. As far as Godzilla, yeah, I've read the same stuff in other places as well. Seems to be a licensing issue. I don't mind as long as we can still get other Toho entries such as Jet Jaguar, Titanosaurus, Megalon, Battra, and Megaguirus... there's not many of those around.

In the mail today I received the Revoltech Alien Warrior and Jack Skelington Santa outfit version. I only had the chance to open the Alien figure. 1st I hate twist ties- there were 3 of those. As I recall ( i dont have it in front of me) - 1 extra set of hands 1 alien egg 2 fore arm looking things 1 stand 1 name plate accessories were nice but the figure is tranluscent with blue highlights it looks great. the head is better this time around too It has better poseability than the previous version. Hope to get a chance to play with the Jack Santa version tomorrow. I also got the figma EVA Mari, revoltech gurren, soc zerokage.

Since they are doing Alien and Predator. I hope they will make RoboCop, Terminator and Power Loader too.

oh so would love to have a good Robocop and Terminator figure, like the old ones years ago that had good articulation and not the crap that you can get in the toy stores today.

Seems that the Jurassic Park T-Rex is on indefinite hold since there is a licensing dispute occuring. This claim makes sense because we havent heard news about Rex for months now. Since then we've had many other revoltechs like Alien Queen, Rodan and Predator released onto the market. And all of these were originally planned to be released "AFTER" the T-Rex was to be sent to retailers. Looks like we have another possible no-show on our hands, just like Godzilla and Ghidorah. ba$t*rds.....

I wonder why Kaiyodo even bothered making a prototyte of a character they did not hold a solid license for. That is the dumbest thing ever, other than painting a Mazinkaiser pink...

That is the dumbest thing ever, other than painting a Mazinkaiser pink... }D It's actually a standard practice in the toy industry; model first - license later. They usually use these to show the license holder what their product could look like, it's more effective than line art and a sales pitch. Sometimes they just try to get a head start on something while negotiating. Usually these prototypes are destroyed so there isn't a lot of proof that they ever existed, but some times they end up on the shelf of somebody at the company or they get really eager and release images to magazines. In this case (in a move that also happens all too frequently) whatever company gave them the go ahead to make the T-Rex may have lost those licensing rights themselves, or may have later found that their rights on merchandise didn't extend to action figures. I guess that does make a lot of sense. But still, I personally think it's a bad practice, and a kick in the crotch to collector fans... ...like dangling a carrot in our faces, we reach for it, it gets yanked away, we're left with the Sucker punch. zozo-Magengar I wonder why Kaiyodo even bothered making a prototyte of a character they did not hold a solid license for. Nice picture there Goldarak. I hope mine arrive before Christmas..or else it will be a..Nightmare..before..yeah.. I'm not too crazy for the T-Rex but Im hoping for a Velociraptor instead.. He'd be great to make into a Philosoraptor. You guys know that the Trex is a tad small right? (minus the base) I hope he's bigger like the Queen Alien.

Makes me want to buy a second Revoltech Professor Layton just in case they do come up with a Revoltech Raptor, to make my own custom Revoltech Clever Girl. With Layton's top hat, dip pen, journal, tea cup and coffee table, it would only be missing glasses or, better, a monocle.
