A Black Ox jumbo would rule! I wish they had made Giant Robo and GR2 as jumbos, as well as Hakaider and Kikaider. (They would be fun custom jumbo projects!) From the realm of actually-made jumbos (but beyond my pay grade) I'd love to have two villains: Doublas and Rokuron

I looked up Spectreman... very interesting. Aesthetically he put me in mind of JetJaguar at first blush.
Hmmm... Black Ox you say... Jumbo sized... I might have something to show you ... gimma a day to take some photos...

will, eh? a black ox jumbo?!?!?!?! man, i gotta see it. ive been worshiping black ox like an evil god for decades. lol. also, i completely overlooked my real goal, which is a hasami jaguar. totally japanese bad guy. i think i want everything. an easier question would have been which ones dont i want.

thanks 1oldrobot i know right? i asked my papercraft wizard friend to see if he could figure out how to make some paper repro jumbos, since i'm pretty sure i'll never be able to fill the gaps in my collection due to other "luxuries" like food, rent, etc.

Found the older shots... this was last year before I got really rolling in my colleciton. Ok so there's Black Ox (Jumbo Sized). It's a paper model I scaled, modified and built out of heavy card paper. I think he looks quite nice along with the Mattel Shogun. I am also building a same scale Tetsujin 28. They are around 21". But could be scaled to the complete 24" easily. And Getter One before I completed him. And then mostly finished accept for the Axe weapon, cape and saw blades. He is also articulated at the neck and can swivel his head and look up. The latter is a kit you can buy. They appear on ebay every now and again. I scanned and printed mine. Also I have a 24" kit for Mazinger Z including the Scramble Dash but I haven't built him yet. I am trying to complete a Voltes V scaled up to jumbo size in between doing decals and work! ~Will ps. Both the Voltes V, Tetsujin 28 and Black Ox are free patterns available on the internet to print and build. Getter One & Mazinga Z are pre-printed kits from Japan.

whoah! that is really something, paper or not. i went to paperkraft.net and he no longer has the .pdf. is there any way you could email it to me? i love this thing and would like to build a positive and then vacuum form it. LED lights for eyes might be nice.

1oldrobot That MachBaron costume is frikking amazing! Well done sir! Love the LED's and all. One of my old school favorite robot designs too. What do you possibly have to be shy about? That is top notch! BTW check your mail I sent you a present. eyeone... you need to get this and build it to add to your collection for your Tetsujin28 to fight! Would be cool to fire off his rocket hands and clock ole Black Ox upside the head! ~Will

thanks, will! we started on him very late. 2 days before halloween. the hands turned out ok considering the time restriction, but one hand was originally carved to hold a sword, which we didnt have time to do. he holds a light up sword now, and the chest and waist have been redone and more detailing on the head. he was, indeed, machbaron in the beginning, and with 4 hours to go to the big party at the auto museum, had to slightly modify to compensate for what wasnt going to get finished. ill send more up to date pics. i also made a kaiser (tetsujin character) costume ill post.
