I hope someone has experience with this sort of thing with NY, because I just discovered that my exclusive Riderman, which I got like 8+ months ago, has two of the same left hand and no matching right hand. I sent them a message but I have no idea if they're willing or capable of doing anything about this  |

Stuff like this happens to my brother all the time, even at retail stores on normal quality figures (like marvel/DC etc). Even NECA.
You've got to check every inch of a figure now. Once you go beyond 5-10 points of articulation you risk errors like this and believe me they happen WAY more often than you realize.
Sometimes you get the wrong joint, sometimes the wrong calf/shin/hand etc.
And it's nothing new. I have a vintage G1 transformers Venom (the deluxe insect icon) that came new with two right hands. The right side hand is a right hand installed correctly. Instead of a left hand he has a right hand installed upside down, from the factory.

Yeah, it's a real pain in the arse - checking the entire figure throughly is something I shouldn't have to do.
I could probably just get another Riderman, but it feels a bit silly to go that far just for one hand - plus I'd still be stuck with one Riderman with two left hands.

I'd look for a broken or incomplete one cheap on eBay or ask any figure customizers if they chopped one up for something and have the part you need.
You can always try to ask for help getting the part from you vendor but after a certain period of time that doesn't usually work, and not all vendors can help out with parts. You could also try emailing the manufacturer.

And now I discovered Stronger has the same issue. The only reason I didn't discover this when I bought the bloody thing was because it was one of the two "open" hands that almost look the freakin' same anyway.  |

Got SHF preorders in on HLJ tonight: SHF Zoffy, KR Omega, Ben Kenobi, and Iron Man mark 3. I'm skipping the Rock and Stone Cold.

HLJ is having some major issues tonight , I'm very annoyed with their site. I may use sterner words very shortly.
Edit: 03:45 AM Very seriously considering Harsh words now.
Edit: 03:50 AM all is forgiven, thankfully my order has gone thru and I will not be forced to use Harsh language.

Finally had the SHF 50th Ultraman SHF Baltan and SHF SW Luke [young]. Overall very pleased. Baltan doesn't come with any accessories. Maybe a stand, not sure what I would have wanted with this figure. There are several SHF being released in Sept that I want. I'm trying to not go overboard but its always so tempting when it comes to SHF figures.

Yup, got a few. Glad to be able to grab the stormtroopers at preorder prices, aftermarket prices are really crazy. Read that there are some minor difference between the rogue one stormtrooper and the original trilogy ones though. The release of the han solo shf is a pleasent suprise, hopefully they release chewie and boba fett soon.

Finally ended up buying another KR Stronger for a replacement hand. Now I have a Stronger and Riderman with two of the same hand each. Where am I gonna find someone to take them off my, uh, hands?  |

BBTS is now selling an SHF Iron Man Mark 6 with a Hall or Armor Pod(?) for $120. Compared to buying it from NY, this is a really good deal! Finally got Road Sector.
Seems to be a rule of thumb that if the Rider is a general release but the bike is an exclusive, it's gonna be either a pain in the ass or just flat out impossible to actually fit the figure on the bike. Road Sector's handles pop of really easily and Bio Rider was similarly difficult to fit on his ride, but at least it's possible if not necessarily good looking, whereas Robo Rider is pretty much impossible to fit on the Roboizer thanks to his hip joints.

Bandai announces Helldiver!...by itself. There's no sign of a gift set with ZX in sight, which is rather strange. Maybe it's because he was only a movie Rider?
