.... There is so much verbal ephemera in these threads I almost avoid them these days. The "oh cool" or "yeah!" post after post after post and day after day saying nothing insightful or interesting, really makes it difficult to bear. From a user standpoint anyone actually interested in Combattler Jumbos has to weed through a sea of mind numbing posts to get to the actual content. Not trying to be a dic k here, just making an observation as a user of the forum. One doesn't need 50 posts about how cool or awesome you think it is. I think it's safe to say that everyone here knows how "cool" it is, hence their being here in the first place. My two cents.. I've not been long in this forum. Only until now I realised that letting my friends express feelings upon my / other people's work is so disturbing for you. Maybe I will try to tell myself and my friends try our very best to control ourselves from expressing our feelings upon some really amazing work, and try to be academic, insightful, actual and factual when we are discussing about JMs. I'm really sorry and actually I have to thank you for your precious advice.

Wow...... No need to get your panties in a bunch, we're all friends here. Needless to say, I totally enjoy your work and think it is nothing less than outstanding. By all means people, cheer! I, as much as anyone, encourage positivity. I think you read something else into my post that wasn't there. If you look at some of the posts that go on and on and on for pages saying nothing it really makes it difficult for myself and OTHERS, that I have talked to who also use the forum, to find one of your many projects or enjoy the actual CONTENT that you post..
"Only until now I realised that letting my friends express feelings upon my / other people's work is so disturbing for you."
Please....No need to be passive aggressive about the masturbating of egos here. And correct me if I'm wrong, but when did I say anything about being academic? If what you were trying so obviously to imply in your post was/is that "I" need to lighten up, you my friend should take your own advice.
I'm all about having fun with this stuff. But, at the end of the day this is STILL data. That being said, there is a whole lot of data to weed through out there and I use that term lightly..
And for the record, if you read my post again you will clearly see that I was making an observation NOT giving advice to anyone. Take it or leave it. My two cents..

Still gonna stick with the sarcastic passive aggressive huh? OK. Have it your way.
Kitsir. I wasn't disturbed by your posts!!! Please, please, please try and read my posts and understand what I was saying is in NO WAY pointed toward you or your posts. Honestly, I just happened to post it here, but it's how many of us feel about posts in other forums on this board as well. Keep up the good work buddy!

Great stuff indeed. Can every single body part of a jumbo be repainted, or are the bodies not painted?

Some of the jumbo's parts are painted (the heads, and their "brain" ships or whatever). But most of the jumbo's parts are casted, and the casted vinyl material is colorized before it's poured, blown, or injected, into the mold. (I could be wrong; but at least I Think that's how they're made)
