I dunno. I like the fact that Binaltech/Masterpiece is tackling more convincing looking vehicles. I think that's really their focus, making them as convincing as possible but also transformable. How would you make Shockwave look like a more realistic laser gun? Hot Rod is similarly a very simple, unrealistic vehicle design.

You got a point, I was just going nostalgic there but I understand about Rodimus too. Oh well I guess we'll have to wait and see wont we?

I think BT has indeed convincing vehicles, while MP was more about a convincing bot mode.

Good point. I stand corrected. In that case, it's high time we had a cartoon accurate Megatron! So the best we could get would be a war within tnak type Megs? But if Takara decides to make a MP Megs, hmmmmm. But I think this has been discussed before

I never had a problem with Megs as a tank. The handgun thing never made any sense to me. I always sort of envied the Joustra Diaclone comics, where the bad guys were led by a cool looking robot made up of 14 ships (Gatsblocker). All Megatron turns into is another Decepticon's accessory.

A megatron tank would be a good MP. Just being funny but an Omega Supreme MP would be cool wouldn't it? Not as big as Unicron but hey, big enough.

There could be a Megatron as a gun MP, but it would only be for countries that don't have the toy gun law and probably cost more to offset sales loss in North America.

If that's the case it will be very expensive. Let's hope it doesnt happen.

Omega Supreme would be SWEET, but Takara doesn't own the rights to him, and Hasbro's rights may have expired.
