I see that Anime-Export's E-Bay page is now listing them for auction.
I should be getting my payment request from AmiAmi in the next day or two.
I'll worry about it after I've had my fill of turkey. >_<

4280 for EMS shipping is up to 2.2kb's.
The total weight was 4.8lbs. That's pretty heavy.

4280 for EMS shipping is up to 2.2kb's. The total weight was 4.8lbs. That's pretty heavy. Weight for the item is 1.3 kg according to hlj.com. Was lucky enough to get a GX-57 before it sold out at amiami. Ordered it with Predaking which weighs 1.850 kg (also according to hlj.com) Shipping charge for both items combined is 8000 Y! Looking at the Japan Post shipping charges, this seems the right amount for sending it by SAL. I'm going to e-mail amiami and ask them if they could send it by Surface.

AmiAmi is shipping mine today, just under $250 VERY EXCITED!!!! Ditto! I'm glad I ordered it a while back, I can't believe it sold out already! Glad I pre-ordered the Andromeda as well, because that is sure to fly off the shelves on the release day. The wallet is a little lighter now, since I had to pay not only for the Yamato, but for the Ultra-Act Mebius and Zamusha as well... Oh well, whatever makes me happy! }D

Kinda disappointed that amiami won't ship via Surface. The good thing is that I was able to get one rather than pay hlj inflated prices.

Amiami gave me the option of EMS or SAL, but SAL was going to cost me a lot more than EMS (SAL = 5000 Yen)!!! You can email them to see what they can do for you. }D

From looking at the pictures, there seems to be a lot of plastic

Yeah, it looks very plastic on the outside. On the upside, it looks far less fragile than its SOP brother. I'm always paranoid about losing some of the small antennas on that one, but this doesn't look like that will be a problem here. Can't wait to put the two side-by-side.

And on it's own! I really like this piece. Still wish it were more diecast. But it's got some solid weight to it. The sound and light features are really fun as well. Attachments:

Does it have significantly more metal than the BPX-01 or just about the same?
