I wasn't expecting muted dark colors on this guy, considering the other figures, I was sort of anticipating another red or maybe a bright blue figure. This looks pretty sharp - very exciting!

dragon mode look good. Out of the 3, I only like the gx55 in robot mode. Getting all 3, I will most likely keep the falcon in robot mode and keep the other two in beast mode.

Oh man. Even though there isn't all that much "transforming" happening there, that's still beautiful.
Interesting that the dragon form shows Tobikage, not Zerokage inserted in. Zerokage himself seems styled after the "poseable" form of Tobikage that comes with the Phoenix so he may not actually be able to transform to fit in the Dragon.
/scurries off to amiami to preorder

Zerokage is the "bad guy" mech in the show. It never combines w/ any of the other mechs. Only Tobikage combines with the animal mechs.

Ah. Still, interesting that the necessary combining component for this set is only obtainable by buying the first release. It's very much set up as a "you HAVE to get this other toy to properly enjoy this one".

It's very much set up as a "you HAVE to get this other toy to properly enjoy this one". I thought that was a mock piece, considering that it needs the little guy to fill it's chest.

That's an interesting point. I know it had been shown that the Lion-bot wasn't coming with a dummy piece, but there's nothing that says this one wouldn't, considering it would otherwise have the necessary part to transform. In the picture, it looks like the Tobikage "core block" is kind of a solid piece, doesn't it, especially when you look at the silver areas around it?

Well, according the the picture below, it just said there will be accessories such as weapon, fists for Zerokage and Bakuryu. It also mention that, there will be a dummy. Information from toy-world.com.hk From toysdaily.com toysdaily.com/discuz/viewthread.php?from=notice&tid=131610. The information over there show there will be a dummy cover of Tobikage for the transformation.
