I asked this question on Toyboxdx but they all think I'm nuts, so I'll ask it here. I remember when the movie first came out, they had a phone in poll asking you if Prime should live or die. Now if this were true then there had to be two versions of the movie made. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or am I going insane .

I wasn't aware of this Chen. The only thing like it that I remember is when DC comics had a poll wether the 2nd Robin (Jason Todd) should live or die in the Death in the Family Batman comics.

If such a poll existed, it was in regard to bringing Prime back in the cartoon after the movie. There was a major controversey over whether Dark Awakening would be his final exit, or whether he'd return at the end of the season to resume leadership of the Autobots (people weren't too hot on Rodimus). As far as I know, the movie plot was never in doubt.

I tend to agree on Shaxper on this one Chen. If there was such a poll I think it would be widely known plus it would have been advertised big time before they advertised the movie. Killing off Prime I think was a mistake and was regreted by the producers which is the reason I think Prime was rejuvenated.

Yeah, it was probably to see if people wanted Prime back or not. Whew, I thought I was off to Bellevue
