I just got BT-Meister but anyone notice red Meister is not all that wine red. It is more like three shades of red. Different red on the plastic parts then two shades of red on the die cast parts. The difference in the body can be seen near the parts where there are black trims. The red there is darker. Same goes for white Meister, and it is not even white, it's creamy white. I mean it is one of the best BT's out there but I think Takara got sloppy with the paint this time.
All in all a great piece just that minor peeve.

The mold feels like Smokescreen felt the first time. It is even better than SS. But yes the paint issue is noticeable. I say it's great to have this mold, it meets my expectations of BT.

I haven't bought a BT yet, and Meister was going to be the first one, but the paint differences makes me sit on the fence.
Might get a white version BT, and a white ALt version, which I will paint the hood with a blue stripe. I'm a sucker for the old school color of Meister.

That would be a good idea Omni, but you may want to wait and see if reprolabels.com does a G1 decal sheet for Alt Meister like they did for Hound.

I just opened my 2 RX-8s. I think the colour difference is more noticable on the white one. But, WHO CARES! It's JAZZ! And it has clicking leg joints!!! I was quite blown away by the joints. It is very, very stable. And it looks hella cool!

Speaking of clicking legs, did you guys find a way to lock out the feet? There is that flip down brace.... Is IT supposed to be the heel of the foot?
If I put that brace down then I HAVE to bend the knees. Ed

So I only use it depending on the action pose. Only time will tell if that gets loose.

I need to open my BT-08's then to know exactly what you guys are talking about. I've had them for almost 2 weeks now (along with my BT-07 & SOC gx-24) and have yet to take them out of the box. ;D

But it's been a long while since I custom painted something. Want to know if I can still do it.... he he he he Here's a pic of the reprolabels Meister stickers.

Yep, I'm getting a set of the Reprolabels for the Alt version, that way it looks different from the BT's on the shelf (My Meisters and yellow Tracks are supposed to come today )
