Ya know, after looking at this thing for awhile I have a sneeky suspicion that this might be a custom job. Why else would it still have the Autobot and Meister stickers on it.

Looks cool. Shockwave as a car may take some getting used to for me, but the bot mode is nice.
I don't know, it might not be a custom. It could just be an unfinished test shot with the Bot symbols and Meister plate applied as a diversion, just like they did with the Dead End prototype. Also, the head looks like a new Shockwave sculpt, and the RX-8 is the Mazdaspeed edition, indicating that it would also be a remold instead of just another easy repaint. If a custom maker was that good and went through all that trouble, he most likely wouldn't have skipped the Decepticon details.
My question is, how does that left arm cannon fit in the alt mode?

Takara is sure getting their monies worth from their car molds. I've heard rumors that the next couple cars will be a Mitsubishi (my guess is the next generation Eclipes) and the Acura RSX. Not bad cars, but I wouldn't mind seeing some other cars and even some trucks/suv's.

Could be an Eclipse, but then again it could be a Lancer Evo, since it's the WRX's biggest competitor.
Now an RSX would be freakin' awesome. An NSX would be even better! *prays* ;D

A WRX would be a logical one, also I've seen pictures of the updated STi so I'm betting we'll be getting yet another version of Smokscreen. I'll post a picture of the car as soon as I find the magazine.

I heard rumours a while back that a Dodge Ram Pickup and a H2 Hummer were planned (both would be cool IMO).
I'm pretty sure this is a test-shot, the guy who posted this news on TFw2005 is the same guy who first posted Ravage pics.
Shockwave's moulding looks good but I would like it more if his thighs were silver, they got rid of the purple paint apps on the legs and if his fist and gun were transparent purple instead of black and clear.

That new STi looks awesome! Maybe this time we'll get it with police lights on top as Prowl.
A Dodge Ram or an H2 would definitely be cool. I've seen some fan art ideas of Kup as a Chevy SSR too. Any trucks would be nice.

IF we get a Prowl I'm betting it won't be the Subaru. Hasbro has said that eventhough they use Imprezas in Japan there isn't the same recognition in the US....but since some areas use Mustangs )One blew by me on the way to work yesterday) I'm hoping the Grimlock redeco will be a CHP Prowl |

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Wheeljack is suppose to be red and green and white.... BOO!!!!!!!!!! I was so hoping that they could get the Castrol Supra to be Wheeljack... my dreams are shattered...  BTW, Shockwave looks cool! I like it. And I like the alt mode too, but not too thrilled w/ the tinted windows... don't like the colour. |

Hopefully the production version will be white with green or red stripes. I'm still waiting for a half decent version of G1 Ironhide or Ratchet.

As you guys said, hopefully the stripes are recolored in more of a Wheeljack fashion for the final version. Otherwise, I might be buying another Meister to swap heads with this guy. Then maybe use the Wheeljack head for a Tracks-to-Wheeljack kitbash. |
