Interesting. I wonder if this is a kit or an action figure? Pretty pricey too at 14.5k yen.

According to Gunjap, it's 1/100 scale and completed. It's by the same team that's making the GFFMC's, but it looks like they're dropping the Ver. Ka thing; probably to produce the figs at a faster pace and hit a lower price point. These will probably be the Gundam version of SOC.
EDIT: Earlier I had said these were by Bandai hobby, but after rereading the blog post, they're by Bandai Collectors.

Thanks for the info GPA. After looking at gun jap myself it also states these will be metal frame with a plastic exterior..... so gundam spec at 1/100 scale? Again sounds pretty neat, I like the GFFMC series, but the GFFMC series is quite slow in releases. So if they can crank out these guys more often like SOC's I think I'd be interested in this line. Not to mention if they include some enemy mechas! However, the price of 14.5k yen is still quite high ^^;;

Yeah, when I said better price point it was after looking at Zeta Plus and Unicorn's prices... but I would LOVE a high end completed Zaku 2, or Gouf, or Kampfer, etc. So if Bandai is ready to really get moving on Gundam chogokins, more power to them...

If memory serves me I think bandai used to make some metal frame 1/100 gundams from the SEED line, but i don't know how well they sold or how good they were. I hope at the higher price point of this line we can get some pretty sharp looking figures with some excellent articulation and of course heavy weight.

These are great news!!!I really like the aeshetic of this line and what pleases me most is that it kicks off with a 00 character.I do hope though that the line stays with Gundams because in Gunjap says that it's a new line of mechas(generally). I guess we'll have to wait and see.......

This is really nice... but the price point is kinda insane... hopefully it will be lower for the next releases. Even though the GFFMC releases have been slow, I still haven't been able to keep up due to the high pricing

Looks like it's being appropriately katoki'd. I wonder why they aren't putting this in the GFFMC line. Oh Bandai and its crazy marketing.

This looks a lot like they're bringing back the Chogokin MMM (Metal Material Model) Line. And if that's the case, these are the best action figures Bandai has ever released, IMO of course. The Chogokin MMM figures entire inner frame was made of metal with plastic removeable armor. These figures were very nicely constructed and have a very nice heft to them. There was also a MMM GQ Line which was mostly plastic with minimal metal parts. The armor was not removable on these. I'm sure most of you are familiar with these lines, but for those who aren't, here are a couple of pictures. The first is the Chogokin MMM Line and the second is the MMMGQ Line.

Yea, price wise I think they were only in he $40-$60 range. Of course they're a little more expensive now since they've been discontinued. And of course....I will never go away..... LOL By the way bro, check out the RJ "Toy Vault" thread. I got some new cases and just finished setting them up! Haven't had the chance to email you...
