The color of the figure is CLEAR but with the camera flash it shows up as green! below is the picture of the boxes front and back. thank you.

Tony got it I think. Those are Takara reissues of their original Henshin Cyborg figures, which are what the Microman figures evolved from, and which were originally the Japanese take on the vintage 12" GI Joe figs back in the day. Kicking myself for not picking up some more of those reissues at my local anime store several years ago. Lots of add-on suits made by several companies, including SecretBase. As to the specific name of that character, not sure. I usually research that stuff though one of the specialist sites like www.microforever.com

John, Thanks so much, YOU are Da Man! ;D I kinda figured they looked familiar from the Henshin Cyborg line, because I've seen many Mazinger-Z figures made in that rendition. Also, I have Mazinger-Z, Grendizer, and Great Mazinger Medicom RAHs, which on occasion I like to pull out their Joe bodies and let the rubber outter armor skins stand on their own. ;D So, when I glanced at This one shown above I knew the limbs and the translucent color seemed vaguely familiar. This one shown above is a cool specimen. And I believe if anyone has one or more of these Henshins, HOLD ONTO THEM. They are pricey these days; and hard to get, depending on whatever Certain character/edition you're seeking. Once they're outta yer hands, they're GONE. @ Godaikin: That one there looks really Cool. I honestly cannot tell you more info about it because I don't follow this line except for my RAH Mazingers and Grendy. That one there seems like a pretty rare specimen, although I don't know how "rare" it is- and I use the term rather loosely. The link sources which John has provided above should point you in the right direction. Thanks for sharing. zozo-Magengar

Yes, they are from the Neo Henshin Cyborg line. The figures sell for about $20 each, maybe more, maybe less, depending on which way the wind blows. Not terribly expensive but pretty damn cool. I've got a number of these myself.

$20 bucks?! Man, I must've been looking at the wrong ebay pages. I've seen them go for outrageous prices. Damn, at $20 bucks a Hen I coulda had a shelf full of customs by now. Wish I had known this sooner. ;D The very high priced ones are vintage, and they sell for a ton. There are several versions of the newer releases, and some are more expensive than others. The Walder figures are more valuable, as are all the suited ones. But these basic ones are not terribly expensive. They are a great buy and lots of fun. But in most cases, the batteries do not work. BTW, I am certainly no expert on this toy line, but I do happen to search for them now and again and have a small collection of these newer releases.

Did you have any luck selling it? I have that Henshin Cyborg, it happens to be one of my favorite ones (my other favorite is the trans smoke-gray). In case anyone is wondering, the clear with translucent yellow insides is the model used to make the GaoGaiGar figure, with the regular HC head instead of GGG's big bushy orange mane. Underneath GGG's armor, it's the same exact HC body, that's why the hands and feet are gray (originally to match the gray plastic armor).
Originally these retailed for around $15. Back in the late 90s I bought a whole slew of them & got all the different colors. The main downpoint of the toyline was that they were the same guy over & over again, and they never made any different style molds. There's only so many times people will buy the same toy over for different color schemes. Also, costumes were made for them, but hardly enough. There were less than 10 accessory costumes available. They did sell accessory packs of arm attachments, both in color/painted versions as well as translucent gray.
Another downpoint was that the swivel-ball abdomen that allowed the figure to be more posable put a lot of stress on the chest, being held in place by the tension of a hefty rubber connector, and many of the figures came with stress-cracks in the center of the torso because of the design. They're not enough to cause the figures to fall apart, but 9 out of 10 figures had them & came that way in the box, unfortunately. They're still awfully cool figures.
There were some exclusives available including a giraffe-themed set of armor & attachments that were available only at Japan Toys R Us, as well as a clear (and trans-smoke) set of armor. To get the full set of armor, one had to acquire it 1 piece at a time per boxed figure. If you bought all the figures like I did, you would be rewarded with the full set of armor that includes 2 boots, 2 gloves, a helmet, a torso-piece, and a belt. After spending all that I never did manage to get the orange-gold (visibly different than the regular gold) HC that came with pieces of the TRU armor, which included a giraffe-head helmet and an extended, long-neck gun that resembles a giraffe as well. It got too ridiculous paying for the same figure over & over just to get little pieces of armor, which, as I already pointed out, was the main problem with the non-success of the toyline. It did not get renewed after 1999 even though there had been plans to release other figures, including the child version, and the sidekick dog/cat.
There were a few other HC styles though, that were released separately from this series, including a non-light-up, barefoot version that was an entirely different mold & had completely different internals. His arms & legs are ball-joint magnets instead of the snap-in joints like these guys, and is a bit taller, with a different style head as well, and 2 "ports" on his back for magnetically attachable accessories. I have him as well, in one of the tiger suit costumes that were made for him. That version was meant to look more like the old-time Cyborgs, appealing to adults who had the original ones as kids, but like the other HC toyline, it didn't fare too well either and after the initial figure, no others were made. All forms of the HCs terminated with the 90s.

Even though it was basically the same figure over, I think the common collector still likes to make sure they have all color variations, no? I also bought about 3 or 4 of these. The one I wanted the most, though, was the crab clawed one. I just HAD to have that. Too friggin cool. Weren't the more complex Walder type ones (KWII, I think?) also released around the same time? And these provided some different designs to provide variety.
