godaikin.. let's get this project on it's way first.. doing a ONE OFF helmet cost a lot that's why we need at least 10 people to make this VOltes V helmet to make this project happen. Matrixsoul and Gt3ian yeah price is the main factor.. if this project "EVER" happens, it won't be until early next year.. We need to research a lot of things.. Brainstorming started already and the only problem we can see is the retractable glass shield.. If we can make this helmet without the retractable glass shield then we can lower the COST a little bit. I saw the Bandai Japan released helemt and I can assure you we can better that one.. firstly, the bandai released has the V logo airbrushed.. we can do that EMBOSSED. and for a LIMITED number of 10 possibly 25 ( that's the maximum) worldwide! I'm guessing with 10 helmets we can expect at least $450 including shipping. Less, if we can have 25 on board if you look at my blog (signature) you can see how great sculptor/prop makes my friend is c'mon VOltes team! let's make it happen

what kind of helmet are we talking about here.. is it a anime accurate helmet or motorcycle helmet? i've already have a custom motorcycle voltes theme paint, and its cool when i use it hahaha if so, try to use a decent motorbike helmet, i saw new nolan n20 is a nice base to be customize although it doesnt have a retractable visor, the visor it self open outside the helmet but the shape of it is nice if we talking about $450 each, wow... thats expensive

$450 for a limited of ten?? I think that's pretty decent price.. Again that's only an approximation. We will build this helmet from scratch..as accurate as the one used in the anime series.. with the "V" embossed and not the one you have,..I believe that's Airbrushed..right? again.. this is just a proposed collectibles for Us serious collectors

I can't afford it, and I'm not much of a Voltes fan, so I'll pass. But still..... to have an authentically made Voltes pilot helmet in any possible existence is better than nothing, and you Voltes fans deserve it. All the custom-made helmets do look nice, and I appreciate all the work the makers put into them helmets. But to have a genuine helmet made from scratch, and in its truest anime-source form, doesn't happen here every day-- so, Jump On It, guys! Good Luck! zozo-Magengar

Well, as a helmet user, and previous collector of a few from Motocross, and Mtn. biking, I know that even a custom airbrush job and a legit helmet together, costs more than $450. Many top riders paint jobs cost way over that. Have you seen some big name helmet painters, like?: www.troyleedesigns.com/paint/gallery_featured.phpThat said, this is something I'd really have to budget for next year, but if it helps to get it done, I'm in for 1 for sure.

Oh, and BTW, super thanks to Nyonk, and John for showing off the helmets in their displays, showing what it would look like in a case. That is just too cool, and what I'd see myself doing with a display.

yup its airbrush... just because i want to use it sometime when riding my bike... using an embossed V on the road i think its weird and not safety standart will be bad for health
but i would like to see the result too... too bad the price is a bit steep for me...

I'd have interest in 1/2 scale representations as it would go well with my collection of Kamen Rider 1/2 kabutos. OP. Could you give me a little info on that 1/6 figure you have there? Never saw one before.
