Well, I found Kong on Amazon for $55 shipped and ordered one. Will be here Monday or Tuesday.

Quality is good with a very nice sculpt, articulation is good but being based on a gorilla the inherently based positions because of that limits the poses you can put it in.

Yeah, I saw it at A-E, but the price tag is just way too much for me.  I do like it a lot, but not over $300 shipped "a lot".

I'm still debating. I also have the SOC one and wow it's awesome.

I got the Metal plating version and sure it's little chromey but every surface that's chrome has passed my diecast "lip test."
I "KNOW" some parts are plastic, but they are cold to the touch due to the plating and it's just awesome.

well it would depend, do you have any of the other SHmonsters?

if so then the problem of the Chogokin version is that its not in scale with the SH monster arts lines, also i think is not as articulated as the other one. but its still a nice looking piece.
