Yes, I go to toyboxdx sometimes, but RJ forum is like crack to me right now - I am soooo addicted.
But I do enjoy the vintage boxed background wall at tbdx. Thanks for the link Erik...

Myles, the one pictured above is the actual Bandai America release from 1984. Getting your hands on the Bandai Japan version is very difficult. I saw one MIB in Osaka at a store called Psychodelia in Japanese box for something like 30,000Y.. Those guys are really cool so it could be probably had for $200, but still. A TOTALLY unpopular show leads to very desirable pieces. Go figure.
BTW, I walked over there from Den Den (Nipponbashi) one night drunk and they broke me off a Daiku Maryu MIP Popy for about $100. Case fresh. Great shop. I'll post the link.

Those pics are sick, sick, sick! But they also make me feel sick, sick, sick to my stomach knowing I'll never make it over there. It'd probably be entertaining as hell going with you guys too. Your group trips must rock.

FYI - this Joahmaru Bionoid set along with the Bionoid Mad Hurricane were sold in Toys R US stores here in the states in the mid 80's around the same time that Godaikins, Voltron, and Robotech were on the shelves. I never thought they were particularly rare but they tend to go for stupid money these days. Particularly to collectors in Saudi and Dubai, oddly.
