Not sure about a new head, but this is the first time we've seen it in colour. Looks good to me. Robot Kingdom also posted pics of the replacement shovel last night. The base is wider, but I couldn't tell from the angle how they could have given the ratchet joint any more clearance. Hmm. On a side note, I also got my shipping notice from RK last night too. Woo!

I dislike the head. It just does not seem up to the style and finish of the rest of the design.

It needs the "goggle" look from the cartoon and silver on the forehead and not follow the original toy. Plus I think the face is a bit to long and if you stuck two small horns on it you could pass it off as Menasor's head.

Yeah, light piping style head would be nice but the way it is now, I still like it. Head design is based on the idw dreamwave comic? I just didn't like the old round forehead and visor head.

That's right, chin is a little bit longer and face need more sharpness*. A cool gimmick TFC failed is a double face swaping like MP Starscream does : A second face with "unleashed" expression !
* I prefer robots with face made of solid metal than softy one.

Looks like RK put up Pre Orders for Dr Crank and Structor. Dr Crank said to be released late November and Structor is early December. Who all thinks they will be pushed back until after Xmas? heh

Most likely will. My estimate would be next summer is likely when the set will be complete. We will be lucky if Dr.Crank gets release before christmas. Leaving Structor to be released at the end of February due to the Chinese new year holiday. From there, the next release @ April follow by the last in June. This is based on how it has gone for them so far. They announced September for Heavylabor and we don't get him till the end of October.

Seeing how Exgraver is still in stock after releasing it almost two-three months ago at Robot Kingdom, I guess there's no need to hurry to grab the new figures. I'll skip them for now. Monster Arts exclusives are calling me.

Actually if im not mistaken Exgraver has gone out of stock at RK and what they have now is their first restock and just checking right this second Exgraver is out of stock once again for a "December Restock" I wouldnt wait... Devastator might end up without a leg to stand on HAHAHAH... I had to say it.

Structor and Crank pre-ordered. I don't know how many they expect but I just for fun, I did the "order 100 trick" and the system returned 26 for one and 33 for the other...
Anyway - yeah, the head looks ...hmm... little bit too much light-piping for my taste. But okay, I guess. If they were to go with that much on his forehead, and vents on the sides... I would have preferred light-piping to appear all over his body. You know, give him the "Tron" look. But that would be silly. So now we have a head that will be shiny bright red in my display... Hmm.
So... will Crank and Structor actually show up in December in my mail? Heh - who knows. Maybe people will complain about something on Heavy and they'll need to come up with a replacement piece for him too and delay everything else. But whatever. After a two month wait for Heavy, waiting 2 months for Structor won't be such a big deal.

Just wanted to say: Heavy Labor arrived in the mail and I'm am totally psyched. It looks great. It's solid. It is not a parts-former (except his guns). I might normally complain that his joints are bit too tight, but since his eventually role will be to carry 3 more similar toys above him, then I'll let that slide. I am a bit worried though - just for fun I stuck Exgraver's arm socket onto one of the leg pegs and goodness it's insanely tight and hard to snap on and off (I momentarily thought I might break something). But apparently Heavy will connect to Crank by two such joints?! It'll require Heruclean strength to fit those to together! (see what I did there?).
