It'll be cool if they make their version of the other gestalts w/ different combination templates. Abandon the Scramble City concept.

From TFC Weibo : Green barrel makes sense... It's blurry but is that a red visor on the face ?

Can't wait!!! Love the combined mode! It would have to be the toy of the year for 2012 when all six are finally out. I think Hercules will be bigger than any SOC released to date. Out of everything I own or have pre-ordered, this will only be dwarfed by the Mattel 2-ft Voltron.
Dr. Crank is arriving at BBTS!

@ locidm, did you email joel @ bbts about dr. Crank? I haven't been charged for it yet and also is waiting to get the battletanker from them along with Structor before I ask them to ship. All 3 for only 10$ shipping. If they get these in and ship them out by the 19th, I can receive them in time on for christmas.
Nevermind, I did get charged already for Dr. Crank. Just waiting for the Maketoys Battletanker.

On the battle tanker, I got impatient and ordered directly from upgradcommander, which ended up costing ~$130 shipped. Sure I got it a little sooner than most, but not worth the extra $$$.

Really tempted to skip on waiting for Battletanker after I watch this video and saw most of the combined form. Come on BBTS, get that Battle tanker in already.

I received my DR Crank this morning... ve-ry-ni-ce... I really do not have any regrets getting this TFC set.
Crank doesn't have strings included in box. The hook can be attached on crane or have free move by using strings (playing role as cables)... Maybe TFC got this included with next releases (with visor...).

Got my Dr Crank today and I love him. Like Lejam said, I have no regrets what so ever going with the TFC releases. excellent work, solid figures and im hoping a very VERY impressive combined mode.

The amount of slot and peg of these constructicons are maye be too much... It levels these as toys for kids but could help for imagination and creativity. Dispit we ONLY are displaying them in widows for showcase and never playing with them (in secret of our wife and kids), any kid will love to swap parts between these constructicons and crash them on floor. Yeah, these are solid figures. ^__^ Jumby & Jumbo :

So is that the secret? Love the finish look. This is the reason to buy this project. The individual bots, the individual alt modes, they are just an after thought. Once combine, like the KO G1 version that is in my display, it is unlikely to come apart. Maybe once in a awhile, I take it apart to dust of and play with, but with most of the combiners that I have, it is rarely taken apart.

i wonder, with the glasses on, can we fold the head back?

I wonder the same: the glasses appear to wrap around a notch in the existing head, so I think it will be able to transform as normal. (*crosses fingers and hopes!*)
One thing I have loved so far with the the two figures I have is the lack of "extra kibble" from parts forming. And even when there was parts-forming, they could be hidden somewhere as part of the alt-mode (like the right hand and Exgraver's "tail end.")
Ugh - I'm annoyed with life some times, I got a delivery noticed on my door on Thursday and I finally have some free time to go to the postal outlet (thankfully the new location assigned to my neighbourhood is open on Saturdays; I don't need to wait another 2 days because of bad timing). I'm excited now especially since it's been a week or two and there haven't been reports of any serious QC issues with Structor or Dr Crank yet. I guess TFC has slowly been able to iron out the bugs in their production line.
Edit: Picked up my stuff and wow - I'm happy with the two new ones. Like everyone else, I'm a bit worried about the black ratcheting plates where Structor's arms connect to is torso, but it's on a metal pin, so... physics will take care of the rest (when he forms a foot, the arms won't collapse because of the angles and leverage there). And Crank is cool too - a bit weird when he becomes his Hercules component. I too have a bit of a gap when he connects to Heavy Labor. Also his two halves when folding don't line up exactly so Hercules's head is a little bit crooked - not a major problem. I don't know why because when unfolded, Crank is perfectly straight in both 'bot mode and alt-mode... This is not an assembly problem - more like a slight imperfection in the plastic where the hinge is, perhaps. Other than this, I'm pleased with both guys!!

So what does everyone think about all the random posts on Dr Crank? We know that 4 are for combined mode right? (I think its 4, 2 arms and 2 plug into heavy labor?) but he has a total of 7 I think? what are they all for? :/

On Youku video review, the guy is asking same question and use some of them to hold in place alt mod when crane is totally unfold... -> the 2 in front helps to stabilize. Only one of its tabs is useless: that is the opposite of that used for attaching the left shoulder.
But all of these could help children to express their creativity to combine all of them into something... unique.
One thing is bothering me with Crank : from alt mode to robot, you have to force on shoulders rotation (against back piece) to unfold arms. Once transformed, you can swivel rear the elbows. Outstretched arms can only rotate (counterclockwise) from 7 to 11. The curve on shape to give empty space for rotation is very few because of tabs behind...
