Yep, they'll rotate so you can twirl 'em with yer fingers. They won't be "motorized"... this Pilder will be too small to gut in any electronic gadgets... ;D I can''t wait to get this next part done... Page 24......to be continued........ ;D zozo-Mag

That is some great custom work there magengar. You should recast the finish product and sell them either as a completly finished model or even a a kit. I would get one.

Yep. Gonna recast that pilder once it's finished. Of course, I definitely wanna recast it! I'm saving that putty Pilder right there, with the empty cockpit, for use as an incense holder! LOL The putty is so cured solid now, when I close the upper body down onto the lower body, it makes that glass cookie-jar sound! ;D
I wanna sculpt a bigacious Pilder "cookie jar" with some FDA-approved clay, so I can stash candy in it. ;D

There will be a couple of versions of that Pilder... One version will be a "cockpit" version with detail inside. Another version will be a "canopy" version with no interior cockpit, just a canopy... just like the jumbo Great Mazinga's Brain Condor. The Jet Pilder's body is in a different shape... I'll have to watch the "MZ vs. ADS" ova to get a better look at it. Later on after this project is done, I wanna cast copies of the Gigabyte Jet Pilder so I can make some custom funky Pilders with it. Perhaps I'll find a Gigabyte Pilder on ebay sooner or later. More coming soon. Just taking break for a couple of nights so I don't burn out. I'll resume the work again later this weekend. Again, Thanks guys! zozo-Mag That is some great custom work there magengar. You should recast the finish product and sell them either as a completly finished model or even a a kit. I would get one.

Thanks, guys... I'm usually working on this during my time off from work after midnight through the next day, and on Sundays (my only day Off). The Pilder's gettin close to being done, and then I'll have an idea how big the Mazinger robot model will be... I'm estimating it will be about 4 or 5ft tall, made of fiberglass, PVC, and other epoxy-cured materials. If I articulate it, the skeleton will have to be made of either wood or slim PVC pipe so the model doesn't become too heavy to disassemble and carry. ;D
Stay tuned for more later this week...

Hey magengar, you know what you should do when you start making Mazinger Z? been able not only have articulation but as well been able to remove his body armor to reveal his internal parts. that would be so badass, and a first actual figure of Mazinger Z to be able to do this. of course this would be to much of a hazel but truth to be told it would be great, and sice your Mazinger Z is gonna be big why not go the extra mile for it lol.

That pic is badass! I downloaded a copy of it from someone at YahoogroupMAZINGER (from Professor Nossori?) Them pics are great for posters. That design sounds like a friggin Biiig plan. ;D I'll think about it, it may be possible. If I were to do that, I'd have to build the armor as individual "mecha plates" and "panels"... and the guts would have to be made from all sorts of electronic junk such as radios and magnetic-wired motors and transistors, circuit boards, fruits-n-veggies, you name it. ;D I started working on the pilot's body last night. Making a small pilot that size is no joke, and it aint easy; but i will include it in the tutorial as I continue my progress. This afternoon I casted an engine for the Pilder (those rocket engine things that go on the sides of the hull)... tonight I'll file and sand it into its "bullet" shape. Stay tuned........ ;D zozo-Mag
