The dome? You mean the windshield, the canopy, la capota, the glass....... YES! ;D It will open/close, like an "eye lid", the way it does in the anime, pivoting back inside the hull behind the cockpit. That's why I molded the canopy area inside the upper body. zozo-Mag

now i find the cockpit to small or the figure a bit to big for it =/

I know. That's why I have to scale the cockpit back a bit. Not too far back, though... ...the windshield starts right where the pilot is sitting. And, if you remember, in the original anime, Koji's pretty crammed in that cockpit... that cockpit is not spacious like it was in the Shin Mazinger series where everyone in town could fit in it. ;D zozo-Mag now i find the cockpit to small or the figure a bit to big for it =/

well technically how many people can fit on the pilder variates from time to time. Example, the classic Mazinger Z series accordingly they could fit 2 to 3 people at a time(this also applies to the jet pilder) even though we never see more people on the Hover Pilder at a time. in Mazinkaiser OVA, the hover pilder could actually fit 3 people. In Shin Mazinger they could fit more than 4, possible to 5 as max.
it always variates.

I hear ya. I saw two kids in the classic Pilder (the Stronger-T4 episode) with Koji. Other episodes had one or more people up in there. I just wanted to get the proportion ratio right between the piloy and the cockpit for this model. ;D

Yeah, I know... it's been very hot and humid the past week too hot to do any resin casts. Also, I got a raise: more hours at work during the summer concert season in downtown Albany where I work (full day Thursdays only... wow.) Got a newer laptop coming also. I Will resume my project this weekend. I Promise. zozo-mag

Sorry for the looooong delay, guys... work has had me worn out these days (I do mean my day-job), busy at the restaurant now that concert season has kicked in here in downtown Albany NY; summer weather, more customers dining in our sidewalk patio, more parties catered to SUNY staff and students who are graduating, and loud-assed sh*tty jazz bands in the house... oh, the Horror, the Horror! ;D
will be back here PRONTO!.............

July 4th weekend: had the weekend Off, and SLEPT thru most of it (except to get up and eat, coffee, buy cigars, then back to bed)... ...bonged out on allergy meds.
July 5th: back to work... our day-shift dishwasher got fired, now I gotta work DOUBLE-shifts until I find someone to fill the spot. More money for me... but, damn DOUBLE shifts. 15-hour longassed days, less free time for me, more free food to pig out on throughout the day (LOL!), and I will be too tired to concentrate on the details of this project. :-(
Now's MY turn to do the interviewing of job applicants. ;D
Will get back to this project asap...
