Image Anime is over on the West side of 30th st. and alive and well. I've got my order in for Daiojia there so I can just zip down after work and pick it up. No shipping.
The store you're thinking of on the East side on 2nd ave upstairs, was ToyTokyo. They moved down the ave a couple blocks into bigger nicer, street level store, with basement for events, and are doing fine also. St Marks does have some cool shops around the corner from there.

Yup, I'm guessing because of the Chinese holidays and the fact that Bandai is putting out a lot of stuff that high-end items like Daioja are getting pushed back. Hell every single 1/60 Macross Frontier toy Bandai has released has literally sold out in minutes. It could also be that this is a very complex figure and it may be taking longer for the factory to get up to speed. Cdx maybe referring to the us release date which is june, as for the japan and asian releases it's still on schedule for release on may 12th. tamashii.jp/importance/importance.php?eid=00059No announced additional delays so far, But do expect the US release to arrive about a month later, which is middle of june. |

Don't worry. That seems to be the norm these days. HL Pro, Miracle Productions, CM's, and of course Bandai don't seem to be in any hurry to show much about their "almost ready to hit the stores" releases...  }/ |
