I don't know what it is about the Freedom and Strike Freedom, could be the colors, but I just never like the design of it. Maybe my feeling towards it will change after building the RG version.

I see design influences from Gundam X (wing-like structures on the back) and F-91 (hip cannons, style of beam rifle). This Metal Build looks great, but I'm not sure I'll be purchasing it because it's not Universal Century. I'll wait for the reviews. It's also rather pricey. The horrible exchange rate doesn't help.

Finally, i can see the details in the panels and they are beautiful. Those red sockets below the knees, nice detail too. Now i wouldn't have minded an artistic interference and made those antennae red or blue.  |

I swear to you all that this model was based off of a Custom MG built way back when the freedom first appeared. I cannot remember the site or the modeler at all but his freedom had details almost EXACTLY like this. I say this because what caught my attention was the similarity's in the details of the shield, shoulder armor and the rain cannons.
Anyway, a pretty sweet figure to own. Looking forward to the next MB.
