hey guys. heres a quick retro review pn Gao figh Gar. pros. heavy as hell...seriously, is this src or Soc? . its no wonder so many people are disappointed with SRC God Sigma.... all the main joints (except the elbows, wrists and knees), sides of lower legs, toes and heels are solid thick chunky morsels of heavy quality metal!! there no metal on chest or thighs. i double and trippled check...no metal there. it has tons of complex joints. my favorite is the sliding knees. but the feet and head also slides. again, complex universal joints. these joints usually are saved for more expensive line. beautiful. a beautiful automotive metallic paint job. Lastly, on the robot itself, the only pvc parts i noticed are hands! thats it! everythingelse seems to be made of quality ABS and metal. no cons....a beatiful rendition of a really cool looking robot. well actually, the simple friction metal on metal hip joint is biginning to loosen up due to super heavy lower legs. bad call on Bandai. should of thrown some clicky there. still, i love mine. i havent even read the one page manual nor attatched the wing. i still love it to hell. i just love the feeling of slamming heavy metal feet down on the table. feel so solid. lovely. by the way, i bought mine from amazon warehouse deal as a opened damaged box and it didnt disappoint. the dam box is beaten to death, went to hell and back...and yet all the contents are just perfect! it goes to show they really dont need styro to protect the good no matter how heavy the good is . if the tray is engineered smartly.

Yeah. This was why it was $37 from amzn a couple of weeks ago... At least the figure itself has no damage... in contrast, God Sigma cost me 5680y back in april...

Oh man! I have to date managed to avoid buying any of the GaoGaiGar offerings. I told myself it's not a show I have seen. They look a bit weird. Nothing there for me...
Until GaiFighGar went on sale last week. I just couldn't resist the price. So he arrived... and I am completely transfixed by this robot. It's gorgeous! It's everything I want out of an SRC and then some. <Help!> Now I want more. Already ordered a GaiGaiGar and Genosic GGG. <Help> I didn't set out to buy these guys. I know nothing about them... but they are just too cool to not obsessively collect. <HELP>

i hope you got the genesic with the heaven and hell arm option parts. it takes the cool factor up 1000 notches.
oh, and the key to victory set 1 (goldy hammer) and set 2 ( stealth star wings) are an absolute must buy once you own GGG.

I did make sure that the merchant was offering the extra bonus parts. I honestly have no idea what they are (as I said I really have never seen this show. It's supposed to be really cool. Although I can't escape the suspicion that the big reveal at the end is kinda like a Lego Movie/Toy Story Hybrid, where it is all a kid playing with his toybox. I mean it combines trains and Lions and Giant Screwdrivers and Squeeky Hammers and Stealth Bombers, etc.)

the heaven and hell parts is just actually a yellow and a pink splayed hand/forearm replacement parts.
it doesn't sound like much, but it's striking when theyre on.

Yup. I pulled the trigger at around $34. It hasn't shipped yet so I should get a price match from them.

That's a Ridiculous price for such a great figure. Were too many of these made?

I got one just before it dropped to the $34 price. I think I paid $3 more. Not sure why these are so heavily discounted but I am not complaining. I probably would not have gotten this Gaofighgar had it not dropped by over half priced. There are so many good ones that are more than 50% off and is extremely hard to pass on. God Sigma is another that I am considering along with J-Decker. This SRC Gaofighgar is definitely a steal at half price. Talk about bang for your buck. It's almost as tall as the Orignal GX-01 Mazinger, it has decent amount of die-cast parts and it's way better than my SRC Gaogaigar. I paid more for my SRC Gaogaigar and it was the first run which had all kinds of QC problems and looseness on the joints. The figure display beautifully and I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I saw a God Sigma listed for $21 USD. A fantastic price for it. I think they are clearing out a lot of the older stock anticipating new models and such. (I hope). The GaoFighGar price is both wonderful and sad. I can't imagine why they have an abundance of these to clear out it is such a nice figure. But they seem to have been blowing out all of the semi older GGG figures in the past 2 weeks. They also just had both regular GGG and Genosic GGG for an insanely good prices, and the Red/Blue Twins and their combined form were very low priced. (The Yellow/Green pair however still ugly pricing.) I think I paid $46 for GGGG and $35 for GGG. About $22 each for the red/blue sets (sorry I forget their names)

I think at least 2 of the 3 God sigmas that they have "used" from Amazon are ones that I returned because of ridiculous discoloration on the big wing pack from the factory. Not kidding. The third one they sent me is better, but not by much. Thinking of taking a chance on one more.

Usually that's the case but I think they are just trying to dump stock on odd Japanese items that aren't moving as well.
Some non-bandai and non-bluefin items were on sale the other day and shot up 3x higher than their sale price. And I know they weren't high enough demand models to sell that many, even at 70% discount.
Makes me feel like they are going to severely limit the amount of high end stuff like this.
They're trying to get people to buy up what's left and using different price points to test them.
Overall it could be related to the rumor of them not carrying bluefin anymore.

I think SRC GFG was quite a sales flop in Japan. I saw it around under 3500yen at ami at some point some months ago or so. Anyway, I just riced up my SRC GFG with the victory-set #2 that was on some firesale at amzn for $20...

I got GFG I still need GGG 2.0 to go with 1.0 as my permanant Star GaoGaiGar.
Wish I would've pulled the trigger on God Sigma. I started playing SRW Z and fell in love with him.

yes these long running SRW games will really give sum1 a major influence in buying actual toys.. ull really get to know them better.. how they move and attack.. what accessories or weapons to expect... actually it paves a way for a certain robot series to get released in toy form once it was featured in game.. Baldios is my current fave in these Z series.
