I got the Dragon from the same place! These are so much better than the Getter 1s! They really are incredible. I haven't got the Getter 1s. But I do also have Mazinger 1969, Dragon and Black Shin Getter 1 Changing Set. Let me tell you, the Shin Getter 1 Changing Set is spectacular. Definitely not the cheapest gokin, but the BBTS has them in stock right now. My top priority is Liger to complete the trio. I purchased one from Nippon-Yasan on Saturday for $330 shipped. But, I got an email from them today stating that it's no longer in stock, along with a refund. So close.... Also, NICE PICS!

Aw...sorry to hear that.
I dont have one but SGokin says its his favorite out of all three. That was really surprising to hear as i thiught Posidon is unbeatable as far as overall scores on all the major catagories.

Poseidon is incredible, as is Dragon. I honestly couldn't tell you which I prefer. I think I'll wait 'till I have all 3 to make a final judgement....

Yes thank you for clearing that up S.
Yes, he IS a repaint. I know "I" don't mind, but i suspect MOST would mind if they're trying to make the original trio...

Apologies for the huge pic. I just can't figure out how to crop it. Anyway, I highly recommend purchasing the Shenron. Awesome figure.

FEWTURE Models: EX Gokin - Getter Robot G: Getter Liger
I got Liger from order.mandarake.co.jp/order/ for $320 shipped to the USA. It was discounted because the box was " Double Sealed" - it was opened at the factory to check QC, then retaped. The contents were were listed as "New/Unused goods". I'm definitely happy with my purchase, as this guy will set you back $440 on eBay. They get lots of vintage POPY stock, as well. I'll definitely shop there again.
Check out my pictures of Liger at the "Omni Existance - Toys in Action Thread":

Just arrived a couple of days ago! Absolutely pleased with it, I couldn't help playing with each component. It brought back such warm feelings of nostalgia.

Congrats! Vehicle Voltron is a marvel in engineering. It's amazing. It's one of my favorites. That's a nice piece and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I'm just in love with the blockiness and the space future retro aesthetic of the ships (although the feet could stand to be a bit more future-y than just being SUVs). Now I'm contemplating on getting a boxed one because I'm just so in love with it, or at least a second one I can keep displayed!

Four years ago my son and I started collecting gokins. I bought a Vehicle Voltron as his 4th birthday present. Needless to say, he loved it. It's the first one we bought, and It started the collection off right. Then, last year I actually found one factory sealed at my local comic book store! So, we have two - one he displays in his room, and gently plays with. And a one that's nice and minty in the main display. Here's the "Most Recent Toy Purchase" thread from when I found it. Definitely my greatest "In the Wild" find: robotjapan.proboards.com/post/376023/thread

I hope to find one just as mint as that one, but I'll take a good condition loose one and just exhibit it hahaha
