After seeing Baron Weirwulf's response from Dave, I will give them until February to at least have visual updates of the piece. I know he mentioned it would be coming in the next few weeks, but all I'm asking for is updates.
If we're still in the dark with no actual video proof of a finished product by February, I will request for my $550 refund on the two Voltrons I ordered. I like Voltron a lot, but not one built on false hope. There are other great things to buy with that money.

As disappointed as I am, I'm still keeping my order. The money is already gone - has been gone since almost a year ago, so it really makes no difference as long as the Voltron is released during my lifetime. }|

Well said I hate to see people speaking as if their money was foolishly spent and gone; I believe someone mentioned above this is akin to gambling entertainment. The first thing we learned in first year Economics is "a dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow". i.e. you can always invest your money today and expect a future pay-off in the form of interest ... even a low-interest Savings account is guaranteed some future interest payment. Now a year ago, we were all really happy to see a masterpiece VV coming out, and for some of us the pre-payment could be seen as an investment, to be paid out as "future happiness". We were under the impression that this payout would be "soon", meaning a few short months. It is unfortunate that MP (the Investment company), unlike a bank, has decided not to give any details on their performance/activities ... for almost a year now. I would treat this as a one-time investment in a company that I would probably not invest with again (i.e. pay in advance of promised future goods).

The money is not in my bank and I still don't have anything to show for it, so technically it is GONE. Could I get a refund? Most likely, but not necessarily. The transaction was made to far back to be covered by the credit card company or Paypal. But it is a nice thing to read optimistic posts in this particular thread. Thanks! }D

Heads up, the owner of Acetoystore has just posted on facebook that he will stock MA01 Voltron if there is enough interest. It will be priced at $300 (inc free shipping) and is expected to be in-stock in March.

We should be seeing a production piece on CDX within the next couple of weeks. Figures are done. No more retooling, just needs packaging. Full info on the most recent CDX show. Any time now everyone!

I'm so used to getting fibbed by Miracle Production "coming soon" claims, that I just don't have any hopes of seeing this figure any time soon. Maybe, if we are lucky, by the end of 2013. }|
