Oh and, Galvatron's complete line was "'Coronation, Starscream? This is bad comedy!" He says it in the movie when he retakes command of the Decepticons after being reborn through Unicron... and even after killing Starscream, his relationship with Soundwave has never been the same... I thought it was a line from the movie! So my Transformers trivia is still not too bad, eh?! ;D ;D (pats self on back). Thanks Ben-Ohki, for clearing that up! Now, if Starscream gets an MP treatment, who do you think will be next?! It will probably be a repaint of Starscream, then an Autobot. Hopefully it will be one of them triple changers...for a change!! (but it will probably be Megatron or Galvatron) BTW, isn't there any new pictures of the MP-03?! Bizzio, HELP!!

I think repaints in the form Thundercracker and Skywarp, as well as slight retools for Dirge, Ramjet and Thrust are pretty much a given if MP-03 Starscream sees the light of day.

Yeap! Then they say two other things, and BOOM! Starscream is toast! That's what my idea for the black version comes from. Then Takara can just throw in a replacement head for starscream that has that 'Oh crap!' look before he crumbles to dust. @ Niko: I dunno. I'm not good at gauging Takara's re-issue habbits. Sorry.

Wow, it looks like they're really making this a masterpiece in jet mode too! All this, plus loads of diecast (assuming they're going to continue MP-01's trend) and still $100? Kinda makes the 1/48 Valks seem overpriced.
Speaking of 1/48, does anyone know what the scale of MP-03 will be?

It is said to be 30 cm long in plane mode... so judging by that, it will probably be close to 1/48th. All this talk about it being similar to Valkyries and Takaratomy goes and enlists the Hory Froating Head, Shoji Kawamori is involved in the design process (like anyone needs a reminder but just in case: of Macross Valkyries you hobo)!!! I just preordered one so that my VF-1s VF-0S will have a playmate.

If they will follow the scale of MP-Prime's robot mode for Starscream's robot mode then 1/72 would most likely be the scale of the plane, it will be almost the same size as the VF-1 1/48s since the VF-1s are suppose to be relatively small.

I meant to say that Starscream at 30 cm (about 1 foot) is going to be the same height as a 1/48 VF-1... I had forgotten that VF-1s are much smaller than the F-15... I think it may be closer to 1/60 though like the VF-0, since the F-15 is about 60 ft in length.

If Starscream does get released in Sept-Oct, I have a bad feeling that there is going to be a big controversy for TOTY this year... namely that TBDX may get swamped with TF fans stuffing the ballot again.... Voltes may get gypped.

I can't wait for this figure to come out, here's a link giving some more details about it. It says it will be around 300mm or 30cm or almost 12" (for you lazy Americans who won't switch over to the much better metric system ;D) in jet mode. At that size I'm guessing Screamer will be 1/72 scale? tformers.com/article.php?sid=5851

I think this could be Transformers... not of the year... but of the century... more than Convoy Mp for ideas and grade of difficulty... It will be Fantastic! Is true the story Starscrem will have 2 mimic position?

Thanks all. Hehe, well first you need to have too much time on your hands. I can't wait for this toy. It's the most significant release in a couple of years, since MP-01.
