Nope... the mantle has this peg right in the collar that plug into the new figures. I went back and checked allthe other figures released prior to Zoffy and none of them have the special hole to plug the peg in. My guess is that Bandai WILL be re-issuing revised figures of every classic Ultraman already made. The already started with the Ultraman, so my guess is that Ultraseven, Mebious, and Leo will follow...

I got my mantle today and realized that too, i don't know whether to pick up the new Ultraman and pick up another mantle or just put the mantle on the original figure.

I do hope they re-release Seven as i never originally picked him up!

My Zoffy turned up a few days ago! Another fantastic figure and i love the effect parts with this BUT i have to say the Mantle makes it! I honestly wasn't sure but I'll definitely be picking up mantles for all the brothers.
