I just finished watching Nexus and I'm totally in an Ultraman mood. Those pictures and reviews have me on the fence about this series. Very tempting.

The figures have gotten a LOT better since the first Ultraman release. I hope they re-release him again one day with all the gimped joints fixed. I'm truly excited to get my Zero! Like others here, I'm on the fence about getting Dark Zero. An Ultimate Form Zero was out for preorder on Amiami along with Kaiser Belial. I could not find images of the toy however. The Ultimate Form Zero Looks like something like this But This is NOT an Ultra-act

That Tiga is so cool!! Ultimate Zero looks like he's from the Ultra Action Heroes series. It was a cool line. The figures made sounds by pressing their color timers and the level of articulations was pretty nice.

To those who have the Ultra-kaiju from this line, do you think they're worth it? I bought the Ultra-Act first Ultraman, and while he's nice, the QC and paint is kind of rough. Do the kaiju live up to their potential in terms of paint, tight joints, etc.?

I just got Baltan a day or 2 ago. As showne there are Not a lot of accessories but I love it. Big Baltan fan. I kept the 6 mini baltans on the sprew The 2 fire blasts (1 for each claw) are cool . I like that effect alot . Since the chest opens up too. Well its just fun. Paint application is solid. After the 1st Ultraman release they've gotten much better . i also have Belial Gomora Zero etc ... For the loose ball joints on Ultraman I used some clear nail polish to tighten the joints. I'll keep getting more of these.

To those who have the Ultra-kaiju from this line, do you think they're worth it? Yes, especially Baltan. The amount of articulation he possesses is incredible, but everything is solid and tight, able to handle a top-heavy body without resorting to diecast.

Hmmm... is it me or does the Ultra-act Zero Ultimate Form look like an over-loaded version of the regular Ultraman Zero. It actually looks like the extra parts were just attached to the figure just to sell a different version of the character. They don't make any sense at all...

hey i was wondering would these look good along side the Revoltech SFX godzilla type figures? i was wondering if they are somewhat in scale with those? i would not mind having some of the figures i see here (ultraman and Gomora posed along side Mothra and company) do any of you have both series and take pics or write a review so i could see if they would be worth it?
thanks chris

Ultra-Act are larger figures, in an approximate six-inch scale and intended for use with the Ultra Hero/Monster Series line as well as itself. Revoltech SFX figures are four to five inches tall and not close to the same scale.
