Hi, guys!  I am so proud to announce this, as I was the person who made it happen. Since a couple o' years, I have been dreaming to purchase an action figure made after my number 1 action hero, Jean-Claude Van Damme.I have been contacting some toy companies, inc. Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys and Enterbay. My wish was to purchase either a statue for him from Bloodsport or the Quest movies and 1/6 action figures from Universal Soldier movie series along with Dolph Lundgren ( note: Universal Soldier [part 4] is comin' soon in 3D). FINALLY, few days ago, I heard the happy news that ENTERBAY team visited Jean-Claude Van Damme (JCVD) at his home in Hong Kong, and I believe there will be something in the works... Here are some exclusive photos from their meeting at his home in Hong Kong: - He's 51 yrs old and just look at his physique! DAMME. Hot Toys Did The Expendables figure of Sylvester Stallone, who knows maybe it could be JCVD for The Expendables 2

So they're making statues? I was hoping for a 1/6 articulated figure. Well, I am not sure yet whether they are going to make 1/6 action figures or statue collection! EB guys were thinking about Universal Soldier action figures...or a Jean-Claude Van Damme action figure (with martial art accessories, etc...) Then, there were talks about a statue from the martial arts epic movie the Quest or these JCVD deluxe staction figures! Whatever they are gonna make, I hope they make it soon cuz I am crazy about JCVD! I chose MS-02 and MB-02 to begin with, what about you, guys? |

This is actually the movie that put him back on track in 2008. TIME Magazine wrote about JCVD, "He deserves not a black belt, but an Oscar." In fact, it is one of the characters I would like to see as an action figure. |
