Wow. Someone at Hasbro is finally listening to fans. Lets hope this does not get sh*tty distribution like the WFC first line did.

it shall be bought on sight.
but my concern is will the deluxe combaticons be able to merge into Bruticus or is Brusticus been done like those powercore combiners?

The assumption they will combine.

They will combine for sure! if you watch the game trailer you actually see Bruticus so there is no possible way they'd release these guys and not have you able to combine them all.
Those first links dont work for me... anyone else ?

for me both links are working.
anyway if this is actually the case that the deluxe combaticons figures will be able to combine then... HOLY #*@$^ THATS GONNA BE AWSOME!!
also im expecting this figures to in some way or form they will be hard to locate.

I am hoping since there is only the prime line going on that these will not suffer the horrid distribution they have had the past few years.

ha ha ha... everybody gets crazy (I am) about Hasbro returning back to combiners with different mold. They loose too much oportunity by the past... and TFC created a big event with Hercules. FP did great by a atonishing proposal with the Crossfire sets and offer 3rd life for Hasbro combiners (2nd use of mold was for ROTF line).... Btw, this is very exciting and would rather have a set in box than a blister solo release (I always prefer boxes). I just hope Takara will propose it too (qualiiiiiityyyyyyyy choice)...

if this combiners become successful i would be surprise if they decide to make Superion, Menasor, Devastator or Defensor but at the style of FoC. that would be so awesome if they did.

I just hope we don't get a crappy combined form with retarded looking hands and feet made of clear plastic guns that fold into hands and feet.... Lazy as hell.

i hope they make the shoulder connectors able to hide somehow. it looks kinda skinny compare to his concept look on FoC.
but so far looks pretty cool, i hope to see a full Bruticus soon.

Even if they don't get it 100% third party will help us fix the figure.

well so far this are still in the proto stages so maybe they will change along the way.
to be fair i would prefer it if Hasbro does the figure right on the first try because i really don't wanna pay for some 3d party product that its gonna charge me twice or triple the amount for some accessories in comparison on just having and entire combiner set that might cost like $65 to $70 (assuming).

It's me or Blast-off is ugly ? Those shoulders are urkkkkkk. Hope Takara version will have different colors...
Takara/Hasbro are still cheap with number of parts (molds) for that kind of toy scale. FP is from an higher level : Munitier and Explorer were so much detailed. Even FOC Onslaught is cheap : look at the gun ! And the peg for Bruticus shoulders connection are visible on alt/robot mode. I know it's question of costs, mold ane price rank to sell cheapest price possible to target maximum kids... but seriously... (the good point is Takara/Hasbro is back in combiners)
Can wait to see it to have a better opinion...

I think I imagined a better figure. Maybe if the arms are adjusted and new hands are in place I will like it better. The torso is good tho.

Kinda ugly, which is pretty disappointing. The complete bot as well as the component vehicles seem to last that chunky feeling that the videogame designs posess. The original Optimus and Bumblebee WFC toys had a similar problem, I think. It's still pretty cool on the principle of being a combiner; I'll have to debate if I want to get it purely for that fact alone.
