Pre-orders are up! Jeez this one is a bit pricey. Its almost twice as much as an SRC. Every site is mentioning this thing has metal content, maybe that's why the price is so high? I love Code Geass and while this is probably my favorite knightmare frame from the series I kind of want to see some reviews of this figure before I throw down the money.

From a picture on hobbysearch that denotes the materials, it looks like the legs, hips, waist and parts of the chest will be metal. Sweet!

but where's the die-cast, i see no screws...?

Here is a review of the prototype. I pre-ordered one, hope it turns out well. Looks like it had a good amount of metal, and the cockpit and Kallen look great! They show off some of the articulation and it looks good so far, but I'm still wondering how much range those knees are going to give.

I told myself I wouldn't, and that I needed to cut back ... but I pre-ordered it anyway. I do love the Gurren.

Now I just need to sell my Robot Damashii versions 1 and 2...

^ This. I remember Megahouse's first guren toy and man oh man that thing was a piece of junk,so hopefully they've taken all that they have learned over the years with the variable action line to make this release awesome.

Pics from 2chan: it looks pretty good! Nicely poseable, too. Google translate seems to indicate a lot of positive things about the figure, such as good joints, but we'll see.

Oh man this toy can't come soon enough! I think megahouse did a great job on the sculpt, it just blows away the previous figures! Someone needs to throw that palm action figure into a house fire and leave it there because it's ugly as sin (them huge hip balls are just bad).

Some more reviews! I really hope mine comes with near perfect paint apps. I'm kind of getting sick of high end items with sub par paint jobs.
