Thanks, TMZ, I'll give it a shot!
I'll borrow yours, Baron... as I don't have any Hero Collection Mazingers nor Great Mazingers. And since you're offering to let me borrow your figure for the project, I'll make a head copy for you as well. Thanks!!!
I'm in no real hurry to do this project. I still have some mold silicone left over and I'll make a test mold to see if the silicone I have left can still be used. As soon as I'm ready I'll PM you so's I can borrow the HC Great Mazinger.
The mold would have to be made in two parts, and each part takes about 18-24 hours to cure; I'll be stuck with the HC Great Maz head for about 48 hours then I'll send it back once I've taken it out of the cured mold.
I filed my taxes early this afternoon, and I'm expecting money back from Uncle Sam in about 3 - 4 weeks... ...I'll use some of that money to buy fresh resin supplies all at once so that I can finish another custom project which I started 4 years ago. lol

Thinking about getting this to display with my SRC's like the GGG crew or Gunbuster or whatever. I always loved the look of giant robots standing on ships for some reason, gives a nice sense of scale for me. When finished will be 41cm long. www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-RBT-3699&page=top

LOL! Years ago, when Kmart was still king of discount stores, i purchased an aircraft carrier that's about 2.5 to 3 feet long. My intent was to use it as a display stand for my robots too! I guess the scene in the old Evangelion show, where EVA-02 deployed from one was facinating enough to me that it stuck in my brain for good. Back then there were no SRCs, and only a few SOCs if any, just the bootleg Vehicle Voltron, various bootleg Transformers, and other cheap toys (like my aircraft carrier) which were all selling for $10 to $15 tops. Wow, I loved Kmarts! }D

Ah yeah. K-Mart. Reminds me of when I got to pick out my wants from the Sears & Roebuck Catalog. One year my wish was the vintage Matchbox VV. Still wish I had it. Sigh.

Wow, I loved Kmarts! }D That aircraft carrier looks awesome. I wonder if the aircraft and that carrier are a decent size to display flying around the DX Maz in a battle diorama? Oops, on second thought, the SRC or SOC Mazinger-Z would fit on the carrier best. If I remember, one of the later episodes showed Diana-A and Boss Borot on a carrier as the three robot heroes went on their mission to attack Dr.Hell's island base (Rhodes Island). Yeah, Kmart used to be the king of discount stores........ now, it's Craigslist-- and I've seen that aircraft carrier set for sale in the Toys & Games section of my local area Craigslist from a garage store in my area ( South Troy, Baron and Repairtechjohn, in case you both ask). Big!Lots and Family Dollar are also other stores to look in. So then, I guess an aircraft carrier could serve its purpose for some of our figures. Also, This... This is a model Airport Mat for miniature model airplanes. You'll find tons of these at eBay, just search for "airport mat", or "model airport mat" and scroll the search results until you start seeing these cool mats. These are great for staging diorama robot bases and battlegrounds. A mid-sized Photon Lab or any other robot base would look good on these mats. Sorry about the gigantic size... I wasn't sure if you folks could click on the image to view it in its actual size in a separate browser tab/window. If this is too large let me know and I'll shrink it to fit this thread page. zozo-mag

Man you are obsessed by this fuc*ing Grendizer taller than Mazinkaiser, there isn't a single clue that tells us he is taller. He is shorter! How can he be taller when he is like 2-3 meters taller than Great Mazinger? Did you see the crossover screens? That's how Grendizer si supposed to be, not taller than Kaiser Getter Dragon looks exactly like Great Mazinger in both crossovers: Dunno if I am interrupting something here, but if there is someone who's obsessed with UFO Robo Grendizer, it's me. You talk to TMZ, you talk to Mazinger Z himself...and we pay respect to the elder mechas here. Now, do I see a problemo with some Mazin robo heights? Here is what you and everyone should learn, having the same info from different official sources like the DVD charts, Super Robot Encyclopedia ver.2004 and the Mazinger Bible books... Grendizer h 30 meters. Great Mazinger h 25 meters. Mazinger Z h 18 meters. Now, this trilogy ends here. Then, comes a new world... Mazinkaiser h 23 meters. Great Mazinger h 20.5 meters. Mazinger Z h 18 meters. So, do we have a Grendizer in the Mazinkaiser world? Yes, we do (ref. Mazinkaiser VS the General of Darkness movie), yet, we don't know that Dizer's new height from an official stats...however, assuming it would still be 30 meters. Bottom line: Grendizer is still officially the tallest mecha along with God Mazinger (both are h 30 meters) in the Mazin saga, uncounting the newest universe of Shin Mazinger Z which is also h 30 meters.

What are the chances of someone doing a Texas Mac figure. The version in Shin Getter was pretty cool.

I'm gonna have to skip Kantam and the model ship I ordered from Amiami. Just don't have the funds now, it's not a huge loss since I was just getting these because they looked like fun I just hope Amiami doesn't cancel my other pre-orders though for not paying these.

Just tell them that you are havibg financial trouble at the moment, and ask them if they will hold them for you for a couple of months. They will cancel the particular pre-order, but leave your other pre-orders alone. }D

I really don't expect the Crayon robot to sell very well. Am I wrong?

I really don't expect the Crayon robot to sell very well. Am I wrong? cannot be to sure, from what i understand Kantam got quite popular to the point that the creator of crayon wanted to make a movie special of it as well a figure of it because people where asking about (sort of of what happened to Dai-Guard, it started as a toy figure in the show that one of the workers wa playing with and now it became a reality). Sadly since the creator died the movie will not come to be but the figure will so it depends. i guess is more of a making a wish of the creator come true for the fans.
