I've been trying to obtain HL Pro 60cm Jeeg. I missed one that sold on the low of $200 recently on eBay. Trying to find a similar deal has been frustrating.

Ah! $ 200, it was really a good price (if mint), because now the JM Jeeg 26 inch cost too much, so the 24 inch HL Pro version was a nice idea. I hope you will find one, believe me, it's a master piece, and the box really good artwork. Good luck...

That's what I've been doing, using the Italy eBay. Jumbomania on FB referred me there and I had an eBay seller I was watching for longer than I should, but he sold out. There are other sellers out there, but I'm trying to find the next best deal. Most sellers want $50 to ship to the USA. Some lucky person nabbed a new Jeeg for around $209 shipped--that should have been me. I don't think I'll be as lucky. I already contacted the seller asking if they'd get more in stock.

That was probably me or Hocus Pocus that refered you to ebay Italy. Between there, and ebay France is where we've been refering mostly. The unfortunate thing is like you said, the shipping. It's expensive, and not very reliable. Sorry bro that buyer was me.... I've been watching that Jeeg too for a while. When the price dropped yesterday, he snagged it for me.

Bought a Jeeg yesterday off of eBay Italy, but I should hold off commenting until the product actually is actually in my hands. I got, I think, the next best deal on the web: I spent a little under $250 shipped.
From what I gather, there's one other 24" robot out there I don't have and it seems like Mexico is the hot spot that carries it, Mazinkaiser. Beyond the standard vintage Jumbo Machinders (and Uni5 repros of which I have none) I have Toynami's vehicle and lion Voltron and HL Pro's Mazinger Z and Grendizer. Am I missing any good ones?

Yeah, the only Mazinkaiser I have is 20 inch, a nice robot, but not great as Jeeg. The 20 inch Mazinkaiser is a bootleg, and need some glue, also he is very fragile. I have it from South America, but the price is a bit expansive I think for a bootleg.
Jeeg for $ 250 with shipping is a good price ( I think), so I'm sure you will enjoy it. The original Jeeg Jumbo is now too expansice (arrghh!)

Thanks for the input! So the Mazinkaiser was a bootleg? I suspected as much. Well, there are plenty of vintage jumbos to still add to my collection not to mention the ones I do own still require either accessories or some work. All in good time, I guess. Upgrading the old ones is never cheap.

There's a bunch of vinyls out there, some really nice bootleg ones as well. I have a 20" Gigantor (T-28 fat version) that I really like as well as a Giant Robot that's pretty cool. Then there's the Aphrodite A..... Really tough one to find, but an awesome vinyl!

Yeah, the Aphrodite A jumbo is very nice, I like this one. For the MazinKaiser bootleg, I think this one is fragile, it's not like a classic JM, it's more in the spirit of a kit with somes parts which needs glue. But this version is the only one (until now) nearly a classic JM size. The design is good.
The 20" Gigantor is very massive, I put this one nearly Poséidon, the 21" Gaiking, Garada, so that's good for the size. You can find a vinyl kit Gigantor version on EBay (in Thailand if I remember), for a cheap price, after he needs his colors, but it's not really difficult, and the final result is really nice. Another one interesting is the massive and heavy Gaiking 20" or 21" I think very nice look in a JM collection, and it's still possible to find it for a cheap price....
And last is Getter Shin, maybe 19" or 20" inch, but his legs are very larges, so he looks massive for his size, very interesting look. It was a couple of years now, I found in Paris in a Chinese shop (13° arrondissement) the 21" Gaiking, the Getter Shin, and the Grendizer (50 cm version but heavy one) I bought all of them... it was a nice day!! Not classics JM, but very nice and strong!

I forget, one interesting stuff is the vinyl kit of Combattler V 21" or 22", many parts, needs colors of course but very interesting. I have the original one in box (maybe now since 15 years), but now since a couple of years you can also find this kit in bootleg version for a cheap price (see via Thailand way). But I don't know if this one is a good quality.

I have the original Getter1 kit, you're right, he looks huge and goes well in a jumbo collection. I also bought the 20" Combattler bootleg kit. The quality isn't too bad. A few pieces misshaped, but all in all a nice set! It's a shame the no longer make these kits, they're incredible and I had a blast building and painting them.

There was a 19" Getter listed on eBay that ended a while ago, I was bidding on it, but let it go when it exceeded what I could afford. The seller stated it was made by Bandai. I don't know if it was a kit, but it sure looked nice, full-on color and assembled. I may try for some vinyl garage kits in the future, but I've plenty of things to collect and restore in the meantime. It would help, time-wise, if I had an empty nest, but alas I do not. My kids are still very young. Anyway, my Jeeg finally arrived from Italy. It's a beauty! I bought on 9-18-14 and it was shipped the very next day. It almost took a month to receive it, but it wasn't the sellers fault.
