I picked up this used Romando Shin Getter, you know ..the red one with the big shoulders. Anyway hes a real POS, arms fall off, doesnt want to stand up ect ect. I have been working on him, pulling his ball joints flipping and switching them all around from one limb to the next and scoring them up a bit to get some tension back into them. As I was working with him, I started to hate him, he just looks dumb as hell! So, I started to consider converting him into a Grendizer enemy robot. I only paid $6 for him and I dont like him anyway so no loss if the project fails. I plan to just put super sculpy over the existing chassis and then just paint it. Any suggestions for a Grendizer enemy that could go over this getter? Post pics of your suggestions please. Ill post pics and update them as I go so you can watch me build it. Thanks

I love those Romando Shin Getters! What I think you should do is make it a Black Shin Getter instead, like the Revoltech Limited one. For the loose joints, just paint the joint sockets with nail clear enamel and let it dry. Then heat up the limbs with a hair dryer and insert the joints back in the painted sockets... good as new!

Thats a good idea, maybe Ill do that.
the left shoulder joint will not enter and click into the arm.. I just hangs in there like its not going in all the way... whats the trick to that problem?

he just looks wrong to me.. his lower legs lack the green design on them.. his feet are wrong, and I dont like that silver.. maybe I can just change that to white and put those green "C" designs on hiim.. will Testors model paint work or do I have to stay water-based?
