Are they running out of characters?
They should do ALL the badguy robots now.

Just a quickie review or impressions. I stumbled upon Nyan King, the Samurai Pizza Cats Robot dirt dirt cheap recently. And it is just weird enough of a subject that I grabbed it. And my impression is... meh! I got it for under $50. Which seems a good price for this thing. Don't pay over $50. The best thing in the box is the accessories. Particularly the three highly painted gorgeously detailed vinyl figures of the three main cat characters. They are adorable!
The Robot itself? /sigh, where to begin. The whole robot is crisply painted so it looks great. So long as you don't want to move anything. The robot itself is essentially several large empty plastic boxes held together via ET's Magnetic jointing. The arms are a gorgeous mess. They are by design short and stubby, with so much detail and transformation kibble around them that they are seriously hindered in how or where they can move. The legs are better except the jointing is all from the thigh pieces with a ball on each end. This piece can spin freely making it a nightmare to get the knees and hips facing in the correct direction to move. The robot is top heavy with just light air filled boxes for feet and the leg magnets really aren't strong enough, so he slowly falls backwards alot. Yeah he turns into a flying cat statue ala Leoparden. It's ugly and pointless. And the first thing you will do, after fighting to peg the lion head into the robots back as a kibble backpack is to rip it off and permanently return it to the box. Weapons include 2 swords a nice spear and some sort of fish bow gun thingy? (I have no idea what this thing is?)
This robot is one of those I categorize as "Sit Still, Look Pretty!" But the accessories are a load of fun. Size wise he feels like he is about in scale with the smaller SOC's. Leoparden in particular, Danguard Ace, and some of the Maz bots. The Pizza Cats are starting a Pizza delivery service in the large Lego city that hangs over my desk.

Good looking version. definitely it will be much better QC-wise than what CMs have given us as the only modern version for years. the only drawback is the price.

Hi Here's a very late and humble review of Junior bot. The good thing is he is still available for pick....but is he worth the asking price of $80 to $90?!?! I don't THINK so! Best to pick up at arount $40 shipped!! And by the looks of inventory lot of us agree..... Pros. Awesome character subject. A clean simple packaging. A Pleasing and an accurate color pallet. The sculpt aside from the fugly shoulders, is true to the source. (This sculptors talent is wasted at ET...just like the package illustrator is wasted on HLPro Metaltech) Nice strong magnet joints. Luckly, i didnt have the stuck ankle joint (the cause is the infamous "rushed production" of putting undryed parts togather so the result being that paint will act as glue for those parts...) like what happened to my esteemed colleague. Cons. He doesn't like to stay up too good...he needs a stand. It,s the par for the course for ET figs. Hideous shoulder joints.... SMH It should be around $20 cheaper....at the least. The paint app and engineering is just way too far behind from its competitors(, the likes of venerable Sentinel and the new very talented challenger, 5 Pro Studio....) I dont know but if Evolution doesnt catch up with its engineering, it will lose....simple as that. In short, i do NOT recommend. Year ago, I'd whole heartedly recommend him at around $60. But in half way to 2017...NO way. . Id much rather spend this $80 to $90 on all the awesome Bandai releases. Or other upcoming insanely good releases from Sentinel ( Riobot Shin Getter..) or Carbotix 02 ( Modified diecast VCD Getter 1) from awesome 5Pro Studio.

Hi Everyone, new to this line. Wanted to get a Getter Dragon G as I used to watch the Force Five Cartoon back in the late 70's. I could have got an SOC but I did like the look of EVOLUTION TOY Dynamite Action! No.36 Getter Dragon Comic Version. I hope its a bit bigger than the SOC version. It cost me $100 shipped from Japan so I hope that was a fair deal. I also own the Yamato Danguard Ace Figure which is one of my favourites and cost me $$$. Any input appreciated and thanks.

Hey Protestari!
$100 shipped is a fair price for Getter Dragon....a nicely sculpt of your favorite character with a magnet joints. If you like magnet joints then this is the line. If you have a craving for your favorite obscure robot in figure, this is a good way to go.
BUT, their product is GROSSLY overpriced for what you're getting....so i highly recommend to wait till its Minimum 40 percent off on any and all of their stuff. Their gatai robots are generally a fail. Just buy their non combining simple robots. Also their shoulder joints are THE ugliest in the industry....FYI. Thats NOT an opinion, its a freaking FACT.
Having said that, i own more then id like to admit....lol

I also own the Yamato Danguard Ace Figure which is one of my favourites and cost me $$$. Any input appreciated and thanks. I have the plated version and its good. Lots of heavy diecast. What the SOC lacks in size.. Yamato Danguard Ace makes up for it. Its huge. yeah i agree. stay away from combining products from ET.. its not on par with Bandai.

I got my ET Getter Dragon G today. Yes I can definitely tell the difference between this and the Getter Dragon G SOC I used to own. It looks slightly a little bigger but I do like the sculpt and as a display piece I like it. Of course if a Getter Robo G came out in the size of my Brave Gokin Grendizer or the size of my Yamato Dangaurd Ace I would definitely want one of those.

I like this - Anybody here other than me get this? What a cheap, floppy piece of crap. I want my money back. Wish I had never bought it. The release was late by months too. And why does the box say "Metal Action"? Both the cyborg figure and the Jeeg head are made of very cheap, very thin plastic. Articulation on the figure is horrible, and it can't hold a pose because it's so floppy.

Sorry to hear that Robo....
I myself will not be getting anymore ET. I learned my lesson after JR. They priced themselves out of the market. They need to find a better factory and use much better quality ABS.
Way too many competition now.

When it comes to ET its always a gamble regarding quality... didnt even consider gettin that Jeeg head. Not worth having in my case since CMs Brave Jeeg and previous ET Jeeg already had those transforming little Jeeg head gimmicks. although thier previous heads, maz, kaiser, grendizer is quite fine... theres obviously a slippage of QC here. btw speaking of Jeeg.. it seems ET will be releasing a seperate Valva.. which was previously packaged with thier Koutetsushin Jeeg.. hlj.com/product/EVT57274/Act?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=Facebook%20Paid%20Advertising&utm_term=&utm_content=Dynamite%20Action%20S!%20Valva%20for%20Steel%20Jeeg&utm_campaign=Facebook%20Paid%20Advertising I wonder if this will somewhat in anyway can fit with SOC GX-42 Shin Jeeg..

Ended up going with Fewture's version instead; and it rocks. Evolution's version still sounds neat though, thanks for the mini review.
