Voltron is looking great Derik! It's a blessing repro parts are done so well. There is no difference from the originals.
I sent my T-28 out to Kitsir yesterday. I can't wait for him to work his magic. I will post some photos when I get him back.

ive got parts of the mattel 2012 voltron. from a distance the colors look nice and juicy just like the cartoon. up close you can see the cheapness and the gimmicks like the stupid key idea plague the parts i have. the design flaws like the gray paint at the joints instead of molded gray plastic. i have the red and yellow lions.

I thought I would stop drooling over other people's collections long enough to post an update of mine. Not pictured are godzilla and a Highdream Grendizer.

killer! im still hunting for either a deal of the century on a popy gaiking or the U5 version. nice layout of your jumbos, too. i know how much fun it is to come home from work and be able to stare at them for a few minutes. jumbos are still the best toys ever, even as middle age creeps up on some of us. i also like the original stickers. the kids ink pen scribbles on raydeen add charm where it wouldnt work with other toys.

Truecrud, that is a nice assembly of Jumbo's and is the exact reason why I started this thread; see others collections, whether large or small.
DOE; have you tried Ebay France (ebay.fr) for your Grendizer? They have a lot of Mattel Grendizers for sale in all types of condition. Good luck with the U5 Gaiking, its not common but certainly not rare.
Keep the collections coming!!

devoidofemotions I bought my Grendizer on ebay.fr. I used google translate and it went really smooth. Just send them a message asking if they ship outside France because many don't and won't. It may take a couple of tries but It is WAY cheaper than buying one on plain ebay. good luck

DOE - I have used Ebay France before with good results. If you can't understand the language, try using a translation website such as Babelfish. They aren't exact but they make sense of a lot of the content. Simply cut and paste the information from Ebay and put it into the appropriate space on Babelfish (its super easy).
Also, try contacting the seller directly because some sellers won't ship outside Europe. Most of the time, you can come to an agreement on shipping terms. I bought my Mattel Goldorak on Ebay France and was very happy (after getting WillOhio's repro stickers). Search under 'Goldorak' and I think you'll be very happy with the results. Let me know how you make out...

I love the look of the old stickers too but I like the repro's as well. One of these days I will have to hit Will up for some Voltron stickers. I already got a set for third issue Raydeen and they look amazing.

Just got my T-28 back from Kitsir and couldn't be more thrilled with the results. You can't tell by my crappy photos but the transformation is remarkable! Once I receive my Leopaldon and get him fixed up, I will post another photo.

Hey Zman,
The lights in my Detolf are cheap, plastic LED battery operated, adhesive backing puck lights. They don't emit any heat. I opted for these lights because I hate the appearance of wires and I'm too dumb (and impatient) to figure out how to install them without wires showing.
Aside from being an awesome alternative to more expensive lighting (they only cost about $1 or $2 per puck) the only negative I can see is the light emittance is rather low. Brighter lights would definitely look better.
Thanks for the heads up though, a melting Popy Grendizer would be a tragedy that I'm not prepared to deal with! LOL!
