I really didn't want a Mazinger Z figure with all those features. What I wanted was a Mazinger Z figure that looked just like the GX-01 prototype (circa 1997). I'll get the DX SOC Mazinger, yes, but I am not as excited about it as you fellows are. }D I don't believe any of it! Even though you may not be as excited compared to if you got exactly what you wanted, you are probably still more excited than most if not all of us! Having said that, I'm pretty darn excited myself about this release, more so than I am with the black getter repaint. Same here! This DX SOC kicks the Gren@$$es of all my Grendizer figures I have!

No, I'm really not that much into it. I wanted something more "original TV Mazinger" for the 40th anniversary. Instead Bandai gave us a larger SRC Mazinger look-alike figure. It is all sorts of cool and all, but I wanted something different. I was going to purchase two, but I think just one will be more than enough. Not the same as with the Vehicle Voltron - which I am buying multiples of. }D

well it depends, if they do as you said, the Mazinger Z figure GX-01 prototype (circa 1997) you would get a reverse engineering (a downgrade version) which in turn it could have been a bad decision in todays standards, plus this is suppose to be a 40th anniversary version of mazinger z which it needs to be up to date.
however if i could say what i would want change for this DXSoC version, i guess it would be the head and pilder since those are borrow from Shin Mazinger still. would like it to look like more to the Mazinkaiser promo version.

But it didn't have to be a downgrade, just better engineering to hide the leg joints (like the extending elbow joints in the Aoshina Getters), a slimmer body, a larger head, and a more 1972 anime accurate Scrander, Hover Pilder and Jet Pilder. And I also rather have it in the regular SOC size too, so it goes well with the rest of my collection. }D

Shipping is always free and I will list it for a bit under suggested. It will be a domestic release, so pricing should be good.

The size of this DX Mazinger is amazing. Just make it will all the articulations engineered and improved up to date on previous releases.
Or just release a standar SOC-sized Mazinger anime accurate, like SRC Mazinger but SOC-sized. And a Great Mazinger with a well proportioned head once and for all. And a Grendizer. And then I can die happy. :-)
Regards.

Hi, thank´s for the info, I preordered the other one and asked for a deposit. Did you get an answer? I sent him a a couple of emails asking that same thing but never got a reply. I'd rather get an answer before jumping in head first.......so far not impressed.....2 emails and zero answers.

I was this close to jumping on it, but I guess I'll hold off pre-ordering from Asia until I see the price in the US. Hi, thank´s for the info, I preordered the other one and asked for a deposit. Did you get an answer? I sent him a a couple of emails asking that same thing but never got a reply. I'd rather get an answer before jumping in head first.......so far not impressed.....2 emails and zero answers. I e-mailed him too and got an answer fairly quick. Got an offer for a lower price than on eBay, with a deposit and the full amount payable in December. I can't really comment on how reliable he is, since I've only placed one order and that was Fewture's upcoming Black Getter. But so far I'm not worried.

I just figure that both, Amiami and HLJ will offer it with a discount - all the way up to 18% off. That right there will cover EMS shipping. }D

I wonder if it will be cheaper from BBTS if they are selling it in the US anyways. I think it's a clear indication they are because the site is also in English. I'd hate to overpay just to get the Japanese one, if there are no differences.
