That would be amazing. Luckily this wasn't exclusive or limited anywhere and bandai is great about reissuing things when demand is there. The hangar isn't absolutely necessary. I also got the scrander set when it was $42 on amazon. There was a set on ebay that went for $500 on ebay the other day. That's the cheapest I've seen. Really wish I had bought this when it was on clearance sub $300 on amazon. Such a fool for passing.

You know, there was a rumor a while back that Bandai might attempt a second release but without the hangar to lessen the price. But seeing as how this thing took a while to really sellout I guess that might not be happening anymore? Gold Gold I think that rumour was just collective wishful thinking.

Yes Baron, it definitely was wishful thinking from several folks. As good as an idea it might be, Bandai never even hinted they were going to release a stripped-down version of the DX Mazinger.

Exactly. I remember the exact members who started that rumour but no need to disclose.

I bought the scrander set from Amazon last week for 129 shipped prime.
i didnt think that dx maz could be more awesome looking, boy was i wrong. plus the stand with the big metallic name plate. this is great stuff man, bandai outdid themselves.
on a side note, i feel really lucky for that price, im looking at it now and the seller who I bought it from is sold out, and the next lowest price is 330! whoa.

man it wasn't easy to find this thread lol
so 7 years later and this thing still blow my mind, i was cleaning the hanger from hell (insane dust magnet)
and i noticed that the right side pillar is kinda loose and it annoyed me a bit, but when i was cleaning it i found out that you can actually take it off and it goes for both sides, there is a 3 connection pegs attached to the hanger it self
how amazing is that !
honestly for me i just knew this lol

I fervently hope for a rerelease but with damage parts instead of a hangar.

Nice! I hope they reissue this one day How much was the PO for this during 2012? it was for $320, yes can you imagine that lol i remember i paid around $420 shipped for mine I fervently hope for a rerelease but with damage parts instead of a hangar. there is a huge demand for it, so i think they will either reissue or do an R version to milk it even more, also maybe Shin Mazinger z, they got alot of options 7 years later? your math's a bit off... you are missing the point and focusing on a typo

Price without the scrander is now around 75,000 yen, lol I know that there will be a reissue since Maz is one of the most popular if not the most popular

there is a huge demand for it, so i think they will either reissue or do an R version to milk it even more, also maybe Shin Mazinger z, they got alot of options No hangar, Scrandler pack (with extra parts) included and fixed elbows. Sounds like a plan. Since they're continuing the line, a reissue wouldn't be surprising considering how many times Bandai re-released (and "renewed") the first SOC Mazinger Z. I mean, the original DX run wasn't a limited edition or any kind of exclusive, and the demand is there. Wouldn't make much sense for Bandai NOT to re-release it someday.
