Good find at $22
Amazon's pricing structure is odd. It dips and jumps around all the time. Price is now back to $30.26. But more than likely will drop again.

$22 the price for the item or with oversea shipping included? Because its nothing to write home about if the shipping price is excluded.

Keep an eye on Amazon! I ordered a brand new SRC Mazinger Z from Amazon (actually a seller on Amazon - Cool Japan Tokyo) this last Tuesday for $22 shipped and got it yesterday afternoon via FedEx! I was surprised, since I was sure it was some glitch in Amazon like it has happened before with other SRCs. But no, I got it... yes, I got it, and yes, it came in the crappy folded cardboard makeshift box - but it did not have any Amazon markings on it. Weird, but I'm happy. $22 bucks!!! }D Read again and write home about... }D

I'm pretty certain that anything from Amazon will involve an additional shipping fee UNLESS it is Indicated next to or near where the price of the item is shown on the page. Either way, even $30-35 bucks from Amazon is still a fair deal. And as I stated earlier, I don't care about the flimsy cardboard packaging AS LONG AS THE ITEM ITSELF ISN'T DAMAGED, AND NO PARTS ARE MISSING. OFF-TOPIC...I had just gotten back home from being out of town this weekend. While I was out in the country I snapped some pics of my SOCs and SRC Great Mazinger.... ...but, when I finally got home to off-load them from my camera, the pics turned out very blurry! (I had my camera TOO close to the subjects in the photos). Oh well, I'll try again next time. lol SOC GX-45 (or 49?) Shin Mazinger (The "Bat-wing" God Scrander version)...SOC GX-02R GREAT MAZINGER...SRC GREAT MAZINGER......I also had my SRC Great Mazinger with me, but I was afraid to take it out onto the field for fear I might lose its small parts-- in particular, it's Brain Condor. I'll snap pics of all three gokins the next time I go out into the country. zozo-mag

Still some pretty cool pics magengar! I don't remember ever taking pics of my collection outdoors. The natural light makes the colors pop out.

"Battle-damaged"? No No NO! I would never do that to my SOCs! lol No, nó, non, nay, never, nein, meio... I'd only do that if I had an extra SOC of the same robot. What you're seeing on that GX-49 is a reflection of the field. I was up on a steep hill when I took those photos; and the SOCs were posed on a rock. The camera: a Vivitar DVR 620HD digital camcorder, switched on Photo mode. It does a decent job with video, and just some pics taken from a 4ft distance... ...but it sucks ass at taking photos up close. It also sucks when I apply specific settings menu after menu, then after I shoot the pic, I gotta go back through a series of menus to get the same settings re-applied again. zozo-mag Anyway they look cool blurry! Back on topic......... Sooooo, has anyone figured out what OS the sound chips in the DX uses? I would be amazed if someone hacks it and installs Arduino into it. I'd be even more amazed if someone hacks the DX Maz figure by rebuilding the entire inner structure, installs the Lego Mindstorms OS, and made it walk! zozo-mag

They already have those fighting robots in Japan, that move via RC. All it would take is to attach the DX Mazinger armor to one of them.
I don't think the DX Mazinger sounds require an Operating System. The are most likely IC based.

LOL.... yeah, those RC fighting robots in Japan! We've yet to see anyone do that with a Robosapien... ...imagine Mazinger-Z walking like a Robosapien, CREEPY! zozo-mag They already have those fighting robots in Japan, that move via RC.
