Ok.. I have seen this before, but every time I see it, Ebay has a 5 ' tall gundam for sale for $7,000.00 if I was going to spen that type of money for a JM, this would be the one....and they are offering free shipping, has anyone ever seen another one this size in a store in the U.S. ? And who made it, was it made by a known company, or what....I guess this falls under 1 of the best customs I seen !!

hi, i posted a few months back that when i was in den den town in osaka i found a few of these in a geek shop. 2500 bucks. they have 6 of them, 2 of each of the three characters. they were pretty neat and looked like the arms moved up and down, and the head slightly side to side. plastic looked like ABS or PVC. i did not lift one so i cant say if it is heavy or not. pretty cool stuff, but if you arent married and dont have a trophy room for all your robots and toys, id wait until you get that part nailed down. bring a girl through your front door into robot fantasy land, and youll see your prospects for a wild night go right back out the door. i had a date come to my studio and she was digging the artwork. we went to my office and she saw my jumbo collection. she was astonished and thought they were really cool, but still asked if i was a "retarded f*g" and left. damn toys.

LOL, that was harsh !!!! Well I am married, but have 3 kids, 8, 5 and 4......so it goes to say, that I don't have the money for something like that, and if it did bring it home, the kids would climb all over it..nor do I have the room for it right now, maybe after I get a room added on...ya right.. My wife and I have a pretty great collection of vintage toys, many which are put on the shelf...till the kids want to play with them...and we don't mind, the kids actually take pretty good care of all the items, and treasure them like I do...Now there are a few item that they cannot every touch, a few redlines still in the box, 1 mini jumbo new in box, and a few of the wifes Strawberry shortcake items that have never been removed for the boxes...but other than that, my 2 boys are always neck deep in jumbo's......they have every movie not subtitled, and will watch them over and over,,,and over

pretty harsh, indeed. i live in the burbs and there is one punk rock bar that i go to on yuppie island. tons of posers there, and i guess i get to be the chief because of the size of my mohawk. dated, i know, but my kooky artsy fartsy lifestyle is a good excuse to extend my childhood by another 40 years. i guess in a place like that, and considering the aforementioned circumstances, i am first noticed by the most eccentric, broken, or loosely moraled people. being called a "retarded f*g" is daily for the art thing anyway.
it must be pretty cool having a wife who gets the toy thing. and having youngsters who are careful with the ultra cool treasures from yesteryear. its good that popy had such great quality control so that jumbos are practically indestructible aside from stickers. maybe one day i will know what thats like.
until then, hopefully i dont get any bald spots to interrupt my stupid haircut.

OMG! I'm trying not to laugh... she still asked if you were a "___(unmentionable)__". On one hand, Funny. On the other hand, Not funny, because of those two derrogatory words. This is your hobby, and you Love it. You don't need excuses to justify it. You are YOU, and you Love it. You don't need excuses to justify it. Add those two things together = You and your Hobby. No explanations. If the world has a hard time comprehending it, then they must be seriously Dumbed-Down by too much mainstream pop-culture/media poison that they haven't got a Mind to open at all. Well, I think what they actually mean is "Damn, wish I had that when I was a kid!" Too bad, so sad, toys they wished they'd had. <snap! snap!> ;D Save up some money, get yourself this super-duper-sized Gundam, fit it inside your living room, and rig it up with some hydraulic gizmoes...... ......when the next visitor to your house makes an insensitive comment about You and your Hobby, they will find themselves grafted to the floor beneath the Gundam's massive stomp. ;D

please laugh openly and loudly. i did. i dont mind the derogatory terms. makes for good conversation later. the only problem is that it takes longer to recant the story than it did for it to actually occur.
and the girl did like them, but i think she was expecting to see guitars and human skulls at my studio. that stuff is in the sound room of my studio, not my pencils and paper room.
i think she stole my gonkulator cd of satans burial ground on her way out. thats the bummer. it was one of my most unlistenable pieces in my collection of music i use to get people out of my workshop.
my house is not so overrun with toys just yet, but the studio is getting there. i quit my day job on thursday, so i have to go back to that office and get my stuff sometime next week. im sure my studio will start to look pretty full of robots and monsters then.
the giant gundam would be cool to have. keeping 2500 bucks is pretty cool, too. ive got to try to remember that we are in a down economy. i should be investing in SPAM and saltines.
