Is it me or has Yahoo Japan had the lamest selection of JM's lately? I always thought that Y!J was the place to find rare JM's on a fairly regular basis.
Is this normal for Y!J? I've been watching Y!J closely for about six months and haven't been impressed. I see a lot of Popy Raydeen's, Gaikings, Mazingers, Great Mazingers, Draguns and Getta Ligers.
Of course I'd take a Getta Liger in a second, but not at $158000yen. I thought it would be a normal occurrence to see Danguards, Voltes, boxed Combattlers, Leo's, BFJ's, Godsigma's etc.
Sure, it definitely is better than E-Bay for a selection but it's not what I thought it would be.
To those who have been watching Y!J for years, is this just a slow time for JM's or does this get better around X-Mas time, when sellers try to unload their best stuff? Or is Y!J no better than E-Bay for JM's.
I'm trying to be patient but I just had higher expectations of Y!J. So far, it's not living up to it's reputation!

well to be honest not everyone wants to sell their collection so you cannot not expect a great selection every week, they are not like wallmart more like ebay it is just people and collectors on the other end when ever someone wants to sell they will, if not , then they do not have to. I have been a big buyer on Yahoo Japan for years so i know it is a trial just like ebay sometimes really good stuff comes up sometimes not, there is no real special time of the year for people to sell their items, it is simply a matter of choice (needs money, lost interest in collecting, etc). Maybe everyone is just holding onto what they love for now and do not want to part with them. The market is really always like this if you are patient however i am sure something good will pop up  |

I don't search much for the JM's, but just like other lines, make sure you're not just searching "Jumbo Machinders". You may have this covered already,but just to say it, Like ebay, many things are listed by the character, or show name, or just ...."robot" lol.

Thanks guys, I have been searching several different ways and knew the 'secrets' anyways, so no harm there. I know it's cyclical, so Jumbo selling must be on the down cycle. I guess my expectations were probably a little too high.

Last year there were quite a few Combattlers, Popy Daimos, Poseidons. And for a few weeks there were a decent amount of villans...
With a Godmars, Mach & Red Baron thrown in...

Is their someway to translate the whole page at once?

i use Rinkya services they have a page translator which translates each page you are on however there is some engrish problems with it but it does help to say the least

It is JM Villians galore recently at YJ...
anyone has any comments on the villians now listed in YJ?
As I am not very sure and has lack of infor to compare the condition of the villians due to its rarity,
hope experts can contribute how to spot the flaws or paintwork defects of villians JM...since their paintwork is not as "uniform" as those of the robot JMs....

Hey DOE,
I saw those villains that you speak of. I noticed that one of the Red Barons has a crack on the shin of the right leg. Look closely and you'll see it. I'm not sure if this can be repaired, but Kitsir or Bourno would be able to answer that question.

That Red Baron is quite sun bleached. Has a lot of surface cracking going on. Not sure how much would start to break if not shipped very gently.
Saw the Red Baron with the broke knee cap. Could most likely use the same glue I used to fix my Dangard foot for that.
