I like the updated design. Wouldn't mind seeing a GFF Metal Composite of this.

Definitely happy about this. Kinda disappointing that a forum about robots from Japan and yet there isn't many people talking about this news. This is big news among Gundam fans, the RX-93, Amuro last Gundam suit. I like how this hobby has evolved. The engineering in Gundam kits is so much better. In the past, I would buy these MG kits and stash them away and don't build them because they require so much work. Current technology has made a lot of these MG kits that are so well detailed with so many colored parts that they pretty much look amazing as a out of box build. It always amazes me to see the evolution of these Gundam suits.

It is a big news, we're speaking of Amuro Ray's final Gundam..... Speaking of KA, there are rumors stating that after the Nu Gundam Ver.Ka the next will be Sazabi Ver.Ka... I hope this is true. Both MS are considered best in the UC!

For me personally, it's just that I have so little time to build the kits I do have that I have trouble spending any more money on the new ones I would like to have! Plus I have a backlog of plamo/Gunlpla that I need to either build or sell to make room for the newer releases. Having said that. I'm pretty excited for more details of this release including pics of the new gimmicks. Might have to preorder this anyways, as I need to re-up my old school MG V, which is still actually pretty sweet!

The sculpt looks great. The improvements are in the proportions. The look of the old MG model just look a bit off. I think it is the skinny legs or thighs. 12 year old mold and engineering, the only thing I can remember regarding those old MG kits is the they require a lot more work. Specifically, there weren't as much colored parts forcing you to really have to paint the kit to make it look right. The best part about the modern MG kit is that they pretty much look good right out of the box with a little panel lining.

Yeah, I can not agree more then what you said supergetterv. The mold they did this time is awesome. Now I just want to know how will they handle with the Fin Funnels weight. Here's a new picture: Hopefully a Sazabi Ver.Ka will follow... it's a MUST!

Yeah, yeah, man! I was just checking this out. Very excited. I broke down and preordered this about 3 weeks ago btw. First realease I've been. REALLY excited about in years. However, I love the "Wing" releases (still need to play catch up on the main five and Epyon). Very excited for the Tallgeese as well in Jan. EDIT: Seriously!? Movable 1/100 scale fingers!! AWESOME!

For me, I am more interested in the new RG Zeta. I have 2 of the MG EW Wing series kits. I finished the Deathscythe Hell Custom and pretty much done with the HeavyArms. But I am just not as impress with those. A bit too simple in terms of the build and also pretty small 1/100. Sculpt is nice though.

i wonder if we wait a few months if we will see the Full Armor version as well Heh, good questions, zeomare. I wouldn't put it past Bandai to do that. I would have to pass though. I don't think I would have room for a FA Nu. I barely will have room for this one!

from what i saw this one might be smaller then the original one and more down to the size of the MG Hi Nu which was vastly smaller then we expected it to be as it was supposed to be huge in real life. The last few pictures in the link show them side by side and it is around the same size it also looks like the share the same display stand

the Hi Nu is 20 meters tall, and the Rx-93 Nu is 22 meters, so the 1/100 scale, should put it at around 8 1/2 inches tall. The pictures shown next to the Hi Nu, is more or a completed prototype, and probably used the Hi Nu as the base, that why it is similar in size. Take a look at it next to the one with the place card that reads new product, it looks like the complete prototype version is at lease one head short. the side by side comparison of the new one on the left, and a modelers finished prototype, which I am suspecting uses the Hi Nu.

Im building this guy now and all I can say is WOW !!
The finger is fully articulated , yeah, PG style ! The connecting joints for each finger is perfectly hide. You'll never know it is articulated if not posed.

The engineering of this guy is totally different, transformation to destroy mode also smooth and sturdy, you'll never have to worry about falling parts
