I started working on this custom Unicorn, the Villain from the very first Starvengers, He will hopefully be the first of many Jumbo villains to be made. i didnt want to start from scratch,so decided to chop up a Gaiking ( Sorry Gaiking fans ) i really worked good for this purpose. Then i used paper clay to fill in the missing pieces. Mazinga donated his horns ( Sorry Mazinga fans ) and my kids old bat will be the giant claw, after a few more coats of plastic filler. This is why I was asking for everyone's to villain....I have to watch a few new dvds to help me see some other choices that were given to me.
I hope after this one, the next ones will go faster. I'll post pix, as i move a long.

Unicorn has a huge horn, but maybe this is too big ? But Gaikings horn was easy to cut and twist !1

This is the start of his claw, it was a plastic ball bat.....It still needs spikes, after a few more coats of plastic filler ( auto body putty ) it's light and bonds great.

I found this, and thought it might work great for Poseidon's neck And this orange piece looks like it would work for a jumbo ?

I can actually twist the horn, I'll post a picture of the horn inverted. I'm still not sure which way looks best. For the body I'm going to use Mazinga's body..Dragun's body would work best, but I do not have a spare one yet!!!! I do have a scratch free Gaiking body, decals are good, but not great, if anyone is interested in doing so custom work.30.00 takes it shipped in the US

Well I gave him a first coat of silver, it was really hard to get a good picture, the flash makes him show up too bright....

I gave the claw another coat of plastic, after you add the hardener, it take about 5 min till it's cured enough to start cutting down the excess . A cheese grater works best, but I use an old rasp file.

it took me less than 15 min. to get it looking like this...although I will still need to add 1-2 more coats before the top section is finished.

Here he is with his horn up...On a different note...I found out the hard way, that paper clay needs sealed before painting...it looked like it was magnetic, and the silver paint just stood up all over it. but when it dried, I just needed to scuff it off with a scotch brite pad...I should have known, prime, seal, paint..thats the rule. scuff before you prime, then use a ,sealer , then you can paint. And you will have a great finish that will last for years....well that's true with cars/trucks
