I think it is not transformed correctly but still looks weird, nice concept but a step down with the transformation comparing how good they did Mirage.

yes... but i don't know why it does not seem original takara.... Coz it's an alternator. Takara-Tomy stopped their BT/BTA line. This is by Hasbro. Mirroring the images: From TFW2005:

He's probably going to be close to the size of most transformed BTs or Alts. If you look at the design, it's just opening up the vehicle in certain areas. For sure this will be the largest transformable Ravage toy to date.

You think? It wouldn't make sense to change the scale (unless they want to save on production costs).

Its official, Hasbro has added its product list on the Alternator Ravage this in conjunction with the unveiling of the figure during Botcon 2006, here's the official pic: Thanks to Nightrain and Aberration of TFW2005 boards for the heads up and also mostly Hasbro for the update.

Based on a Tformers report, looks like the Alternators line will go on hiatus after the release of Rumble and Ravage...that is until after the movie. See the details here: tformers.com/article.php?sid=6609
