Yeah what sold me was a picture of Nemesis fighting Prime it looked cool plus I needed a leader till they make a new Megatron.

Today, I FINALLY broke down and got MP-10B Nemesis Prime  I like the price at 150 USD shipped and I could live without the trailer and stuff.... I also like the color scheme and the fact that TT painted the hip joint chrome silver..With these added details, It doesn't feel like a just a repaint.  RANT: Too late on this mold but on the next MP Prime, I just wish TT would calmed down on the monkey arms WTH. Second, once and for all fix "the floating head"by giving him a ...(gasp).. NECK!! Third, take it easy on the SUPER WIDE shoulders and finally add MORE DIE CAST!!!!... |

Hey Jay. Yeah, but it's "stop Order" status at HLJ and it was sold out at AmiAmi for a while so I didn't want to take a chance. I figured it's something that I "MIGHT" regret not getting later down the road. I swore myself off MPs for various reasons but it's keep bringing me back!!! |

I agree...That was one of the reason I hesitated to get the original but this black rendition is just too beautiful.....
Aoshima also was into "monkey arms" with their Getters. I personally don't get the fetish.
BTW, "Late March" release date for him is almost done, has anyone recieved their pay notice from AmiAmi yet?

Yup can't wait, I'm getting mine from Anime-export and was just looking over my order. I'd forgotten that I only paid $95 before shipping for this figure. Pretty good price for it.
edit - just paid fore shipping on mine so hopefully they ship it out tomorrow.

I don't get the monkey arms comment on this mold... looks fine to me. I hope they never ever EVER release another Prime masterpiece figure.

I agree with edge. This was the best rendition of Prime ever made. The Hasbro version was the best for me didn't like the dead eyes on the Takara on. Works good for Nemisis though.

They're too long. I don't know too many humans who's like that, but I do know lot of monkeys like that....
Well, technically monkeys arm do pass WAY over thier knees, but you know what I mean. If you see a "well built" guys' hands almost touching his knees standing straight, what would his nickname be?
I just got my payment notice from AmiAmi. PAID!!
Not too shabby at $120 shipped.

He is a little long armed but really it's only noticeable if you leave his arms hanging by his side and considering how poseable this figure is who would display him in the stand straight, stick up the butt pose lol.

I finally got a regular MP-10 for $207 on ebay. It ended today around 2pm and nobody was watching it.
I couldn't pull the trigger on the black prime. Idk.. it's just a boring color to me. Something I'd probably sell down the line. I like toys with color and all black just doesn't pop, though I do like the blue detailing.
maybe if somebody sells one off down the line.

Having missed out on th eregulr Mp-10, I'm so looking forward to this.
The only downside is that I paid AE way back when the Preo-O opened and the yen was around 25% more expensive. Bummer!!
Oh well still not a shabby price at the end, but could have been much better!!

I can't wait for mine, MP-10B will be my new Decepticon leader on my shelf till they make a new MP Megatron.
Gakken - great score on MP-10, I have that and the Hasbro version and I can say that even with the lack of metal compared to MP-01 it has got the be THE definitive G1 Prime we will get for hopefully a long time.

I agree. It looks fantastic. Shogo Hasui does some great work.
I have the Hasbro version of the diecast 20th anni edition in its box, and I'll probably just keep him there. Die cast is great, but it's not always better than good plastic design.
